Hotel Bineri was hands-down our favorite stay in all of Albania! This charming, family-owned and operated hotel offers not only comfort and beauty, but truly exceptional hospitality. Antonio and his family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—offering warm, genuine service that made our time in Gjirokastër unforgettable. The hotel itself is ideally located, with easy access to the old town, the castle, and stunning views of the city’s stone rooftops and surrounding mountains. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and full of character. One of the highlights of our stay was dinner at their on-site restaurant—it was without question the best meal (and dessert!) we had during our entire trip. Every bite was made with care, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We left Hotel Bineri already dreaming of our return. If you're visiting Gjirokastër, don't miss the chance to stay here—you’ll be in the best hands!

Amazing hotel, incredibly friendly staff (shout out to Antonio!) and everything was super clean. Location was great for a day in Gjirokastër. Breakfast was good quality. When we arrived, we got some water and a little snack out on the terrace. We could then choose our hotel room, having several options. We chose the only room with a balcony/terrace that had a front row view on the castle. The staff was super friendly, funny, helpful and ever polite. Could not imagine a better value for money here, it definitely exceeded all our expectations

A very nice hotel in the city centre, imitating an old house (made of stones). There is a very nice garden were you can have dinner (and where breakfast is served) with a nice view. Hotel staff very helpful and nice. Parking is free in the main square. Next to the bars and restaurants, but the hotel is very quiet. I would come back definitely!

Extra beds (room for 4: there were a double bed and two extra sofa-beds) were not comfortable, so perhaps for a group of 4 it is better to book two rooms...

Very nice hotel located in the center of Gjirokastër. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast served is homemade and of high quality. Moreover, it has a beautiful courtyard with a magnificent view of the city. The room was very comfy and decorated with local style. I definitely recommend this hotel and I would like to come back in the future.

It should not be mentioned that the hotel counts with a private parking. However, there is an underground parking near from the hotel.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. The location was great, right in the city center. We stayed in a family suite for two. The room was gorgeous and had an old-world feel with its stone walls. The restaurant was a lovely, peaceful oasis with stunning views. The service was first-class and really warm. When we arrived we were immediately greeted with cold lemon juice and marmalade. We can highly recommend the hotel to everyone!

Fantastic super comfortable family run hotel in the heart of the old town in central location. Parking simple in central area and owners son helped grab our bags from carpark . Great breakfast with beautiful views from terrace. Spotlessly clean with friendly helpful staff ... why stay anywhere else. Restaurants at your door step and tour guide meeting point at bottom of hotel entrance.

Couldn’t stay longer

Every think very nice in the room except for the bed which was too soft for me. Lovely and welcoming owner. Free parking in p-basement ( no hot car in summer) in nearby parking facility. Good continental breakfast w. Coffee, tea, milk, Egg, cereal, fruits, bread, jam, honey, cake etc. garden vits a picturesque view. Central location in old town near shops, cafes and the castle.

No soft light bed lamps.

Lovely people, comfortable room and very clean. Location is perfect, it’s in old town. The guy was super friendly to help us with the laundry, tips for Gjirokaster and we had a very warm welcome after a challenging walk to the hotel. He offered us fresh water and sweets. They’re also super sweet to the stray cat and her 3 babies, you can tell how sweet they are by how they treat the animals ❤️

Everything was well kept and extremely clean. The bathroom was brand new. It has a central location and is convenient to everything. The courtyard is beautiful with a great view

The only downside is that it's close to the bars so on the Saturday night that we stayed, the music could be heard quite loudly from the bars down the street. It wasn't a big issue for us since I travel with ear plugs for sleeping. I would recommend that others also bring earplugs just in case.

Everything is great about the property. It is in middle of old town. Parking is close (though for a fee). the room was clean with good AC and Wifi. The breakfast was good.

know before you book that outside this place is very loud (dance music) till midnight. It is not fault of hotel but it exists. If you like to go out or can sleep through a club no problem. If you like to go to bed early maybe not place for you.
