I had a truly wonderful stay at JoAn Hotel! The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The location is perfect—peaceful yet close to everything I needed. A special thank you to Joy at the reception—she was absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcome with her warm smile and genuine kindness. She went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect during my stay, offering helpful tips and always ready to assist with a cheerful attitude. Everything from the location to how the hotel looked. It was immaculately clean. The beds were very comfortable for hotel beds, fresh towels every day, and extra water in the fridge. The staff were unbelievable. Kindness doesn't even come close. If I left a baby bottle in the sink when I'd come back, it would be washed. As a mother to a small child, it was definitely appreciated. Air-conditioning was incredible, especially as it was 36 degrees two days of our holiday. Floor was swept and moped. The cleaning standards were 10/10. Free breakfast, too, was very helpful when you have small kids.

One or two little things in the hotel were broken and hadn't quite been fixed. These aren't major things. The hair wash shower head holder was broken in my room, but that was a mild inconvenience. Albania isn't pram friendly, and the hotel doesn't have a ramp in to the hotel but has a lift.

It was in a very good location and the room/view was amazing. Breakfast is also good :)

The receptionist, whose name is something like Clarissa, was extremely unhelpful. She showed no willingness to work or assist guests. When we arrived, we had trouble locating the hotel despite having the address on Maps. I messaged her for help, and she simply told me to follow the map, offering no additional guidance or effort to assist us in finding the place. Later, we had an issue with the toilet flush, and she said she couldn’t help because it was past 10 PM. Truly disappointing service.

Very good location of the hotel, in the center, near the city beach and port. A few meters away are shops, restaurants and cafes. Very responsive and helpful staff. We stayed at the hotel for six nights, the last three of which we stayed in a hotel room with a wonderful sea view. This room was offered to us by the hotel at no extra charge. The hotel room was cleaned every day, everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was tasty and varied. This hotel is a great place to stay when visiting Sarandë.

The hotel is right by the beach, close to the bus terminal and to all the restaurants and bars. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly.

This is not really the fault of the hotel but we booked a room with balcony sea view. Yes, there was sea view but there was also a burnt house with works going on right in front so the view was not as pleasant as we had hoped.

The beds are uncomfortable and the breakfast is not so good. I recommend going out to eat breakfast instead. There is a nightclub right across the street playing loud music during night (you can hear the music in your room). The hotel does not have a gym, even though booking says its one of the facilities. You can find a gym about 100 meters up the street, but you need to pay for access (misleading information about the hotel on booking.com).

Nice room, perfect view from the balcony, breakfast was delicious and the lady taking care of it was extremely nice and open to help. Faleminderit!!! Location was ideal, really close to the beach and the city center with tons of restaurants, shops and businesses around.

Not related to the hotel but by the time of our stay they were remodelling the square in front of the hotel. It will be a beautiful place once it is finished

Loved the everything about the hotel, the only draw back is of you looking for halal food in the neighbourhood you wont get it, which is sadening

Location was awesome, just a street behind the boulevard! It was clean, good looking room, a nice small balcony on the front side with nice sea view and enough space for 1. A nice little fridge for some drinks and a locker for some important stuff.

No breakfast option. Elevator didn't work in the evening hours. You had to use real keys to close your room instead of being locked when getting our of your room like would be in a hotel with card keys. So you really had to think about closing your room with the keys, otherwise anyone could just enter your room.

Lovely place, great location right next to the beach, restaurants, bus station and ferry. Staff very friendly and helpful. definitely would come back!
