The location and views were fabulous. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and even decorated my room for my birthday 😀 The food was excellent both breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed the bar with its pool table and other games. Great value for money and reasonable wine prices at dinner. All in all we loved this hotel, would recommend and would go back again.

We were given a twin not a double despite requesting this. The mountain view was slightly obscured by a tree so recommend you ask for a higher floor (we were on -3). Frustrating that parking and access to the spa were chargeable . And be warned you have to wear a swim hat to access the spa. Bar was only open at 4pm so no lunch option available, not an issue if weather is nice but in the pouring rain would be nice if the bar opened earlier.

Breakfast is excellent with an omelette station and fresh produce and great bread. Parking is available on request. The spa has a large sized pool, separate jacuzzi, a sauna and a steam room. The El Canillo ski lift is just 5 minutes' drive, down the hill, from the hotel. The staff is very polite and accommodating.

Availability of towels in the spa is scarce; they only give you one towel at the reception, which, for the entry price to the spa (20 euros), seems very thrifty. Additionally, they should make water available in the spa area and also allow for buying of other refreshing drinks. Lighting in the room is very dim. It would be nice to have the availability of bright light.

The property showcases a beautiful view of Canillo. The buffet breakfast is fabulous. The Irish Bar is quite fun as well. However, what really sets the Roc Meler apart from many hotels is the level of hospitality offered by the staff. The level of hospitality far exceeds other hotels in the area. The front desk team was eager to address any issue. Alex, Michaela, and Kevin were especially attentive. The restaurants and bars offered first-class attention. Bartenders, Bruno and Celeste were fantastic hosts who provided excellent service and information about the area. The restaurant is equally attentive, offering an amazing breakfast and dinner service. Marielle was quite observant in all our needs in the restaurant. I would highly recommend the Roc Meler Hotel

The hotel is a little farther from Canillo than anticipated. You should have a car or, even better, an e-bike.

Very clean and well maintained hotel. Breakfast very rich. Dinner is buffet type; it offered variety of meat, salad bar, deserts, charcuterie etc. Staff very polite and friendly. Entertaining games in the pub.

The restaurant is closed midday and pub offers only few snacks. Midday guest should look for food somewhere else; hotel away from restaurants and shops. If you are looking for view only the superior rooms offer that(which was not clear when we booked) … we got a wall view … must read description more carefully next time; however we had a good sleep as it was very quiet and comfy inside.

Modern hotel with great views. Really friendly and helpful staff. Everything we needed in one place; organised ski hire, lift passes and the mini-bus shuttle to the lifts was great. Buffet style meals were great and good quality, with food cooked for you on the spot. I would recommend for families with kids primary school upwards as the food options for them were great (freshly made crepes, chocolate fountain). Lovely spa pool.

I would have like to know that swimming caps were obligatory in the pool, annoying to have to purchase a cap. Bring flip flops and cap. Also on the last morning we were leaving early and opted for the picnic breakfast but no one was at reception at 715, then when the receptionist returned it wasn’t ready. Delayed our departure, but really the only negative in a very enjoyable stay.

Excellent stay overall, very comfortable room with nice view over Canillo and mountains behind, breakfast and dinner food was really good, pleasant spa area. Parking available for a supplement. Ski lockers available. Easy access to ski telecabine using the hotel van. Staff (welcome, restaurant, spa) was 10/10

Great hotel featuring a spa for relaxation. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. While parking is available on site, space is limited, and guests may need to pay approximately 20 Euros per night if unlucky. However, the rooms are well-equipped, immaculately clean, and regularly refreshed, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hotel offers a delicious breakfast spread. There is also a pub located in the hotel if you want to have a drink or dinner without going outside. Conveniently, guests can rent equipment directly from the hotel, adding to its appeal. Moreover, there is a transfer service to the ski lifts, although guests should note that the hotel is slightly distant from the ski lift areas, requiring a short drive each time. Fast internet connection.

Parking was limited and underground parking was expensive.

Staff when they were at the counter was helpful. Beautiful view from bar area. Room was comfortable. Internet was strong and lucky it was as the cell reception is horrible. Breakfast had great variety and very good.

Parking was a bit of a challenge with the area of arrival. The television didn't have any English speaking channels so be prepared to bring a streaming device. Counter person was nowhere to be found on departure.

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! The staff are among the most courteous and kind I have ever encountered. From reception to the bar and restaurant, everyone is always ready to help, greeting you with genuine smiles. The terrace offers breathtaking views, while the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Breakfast is wonderfully varied and absolutely delicious.

We opted for meal package with buffet dinner. Fantastic value. Excellent array of food with meats cooked fresh while you waited. Breakfast fresh and lots of choice including hot food. Used heated pool nice experience. Scenery just spectacular from rooms and public spaces. Irish bar fun and well priced.

The weather. Although added to the ambience as it snowed on peaks over night. Added bonus!
