-Food: is some of the best on the island. -Cocktails: are amazing -Hotel: secluded and so relaxing -Cleaning: Spotlessly clean -Rooms: are large and spacious. The swim-up pool is great in the afternoons for relaxing. Netflix on smart tv is easy to set up and great for lazy evenings. -The beach: is a 10-minute walk but has some steep hills. Transfers each day throughout, there and back. -Car rentals: from the hotel are super easy and decently priced. We walked 1.5 hours to Half Moon Bay. To get some exercise in. I suggest not doing it, lol. The beach, however, is breathtaking; it's worth the walk. The dark wood bay has crystal-clear waters and sand. We used to go to Shirley Heights, which was a lovely afternoon. Views of Antigua are beautiful. St John's, only bother going if you need food, etc. St Philips is the most beautiful side of the island. - Extras: We did the private island, which was worth it! Devon from Heaven was hilarious and looked after people. Also, he is one hell of a photographer and took some insane photos for us, all part of his service. Kayak on the dock was free to take out and we did. It was really nice to take it out after breakfast and cruise the bay. -Lastly, the staff is, without a doubt, the most welcoming, chilled, happy, and hard-working team—a special thank you to Jaheem for his excellent service during our stay. -Cons- You are in the mangroves, so there are bugs and you get bitten more than others. They do their best to fog and keep it at bay but bring spray for the evening. -no gym, and yoga is quite expensive. I would have paid to hire some weights, mats, and exercise bands to exercise on for sure. However, I enjoyed just relaxing the whole time.

Wonderful secluded spot. Not for those seeking wild nightlife. Staff lovely, food great, views fantastic. Had both garden and bay view rooms, preferred the latter though the garden view was nice and tranquil and you get more outside space

Going home. If doing Green Island excursion check before that it's not a time when 100s of cruise ship passengers will expect to share your tiny beach

The view and the room were amazing. The staff were also helpful, very nice, and welcoming.

The food was good but I think it’s all premade and kept warm. Some things my be cooked fresh but not a lot. I got false advertising on flower bath. I got fake flowers and when I asked it was because the storm a week prior ruined the tropical ones I should off had. Great place to stay but it is on the opposite side of the island from where most activities are.

Absolutely LOVED this place. The staff were so friendly and lovely, nothing too much trouble - particularly the bar staff who made fabulous cocktails! Our room was heavenly with a beautiful view and our very own plunge pool which was amazing - some others have said the water is too cold in the pools but it was perfect for me - and we loved sitting out and watching all the humming birds darting through the trees just inches away. The food is very good - not outstanding but really good for the all inclusive price. I also liked the fact that it genuinely is ALL inclusive - no hidden or surprise costs - every drink and mouthful of food was included in the price. Lots of nice things to do too - we had such fun taking the kayaks out and exploring the coastline. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back soon!

Nothing at all

The staff were attentive and helpful - Wane in particular - sensational Rum Punches and a top guy who couldn't do enough for you. the whole vibe was relaxed and easy going. The location was great, and the place was excellent value for money. It was really easy to switch off. The private pools were great for cooling off in the afternoon sun.

The wifi went down for a few hours a couple of times, as did the water on a couple of mornings. Occasionally some of the restaurant staff forgot orders or got them wrong, but that didn't detract from the experience. It would have been nice to have one item on the menu at each meal that was local and traditional Antiguan food. The communal pool and private pools needed a little TLC and maintenance.

The location and rooms were excellent. The in room pool was much used. The nature walk was a bonus.

The standard of the food, though varied and tasty, fell short of what one might have expected from an up market resort

Breakfast was good, staff were wonderful. The room was lovely. Food was great too. Bar staff made lovely drinks. Thank you so much for my birthday treats. It was quiet and a relaxing atmosphere. But as a hotel, you need to do more concerning the birds in the morning. I found this off putting and experienced bird poop on my clothes and my dinner table. The constant flying on to tables and taking of food was annoying.No floor mats in rooms. Floor can become quite wet from the shower or if it rains outside. Plunge pool states 1.5 my partner is above 6ft and was able to use the plunge pool more than myself as I was too short to use it, effectively. Slightly disappointed about it as it the focus point of why we choose the hotel.

The food was wholesome, the location was pleasant and there was a good choice of drinks available. The service was generally good. The private plunge pool was a nice touch and the main pool was well appointed, with plenty of sun loungers around it. The beach, once there, was very pleasant.

The shuttle bus for the beach was a little haphazard, especially for the return journey. There was no return shuttle bus that worked well for lunch in the restaurant. The choice of snacks at the beach bar was disappointing but otherwise it was a great facility.

The resort is an escape as the name suggests, its a relaxing retreat and was a perfect start to our stay in Antigua. The room was really nice with great views of the bay. The plunge pool was perfect for the hot days. I liked the fact that the entertainment was usually low key and being able to chill out under the stars on our pool deck at night was amazing. Generally good and friendly service, food was on whole fine and I could always find something on the menu to eat. I really enjoyed being able to take a kayak from the dock and explore the bay. Whilst we were there Rokuni was still open and it was amazing to visit for the afternoon, its a shame it is closed now and hopefully something just as good will open in its place.

Sometimes the service could be a bit spotty or abrupt. Generally whilst the food was fine it could be a bit repetitive, especially if you are staying there for a while and a bit limited on what you like to eat. The beach was ok but if you expecting the best Antiguan beaches then this isnt the place. Please ditch the karaoke night, especially when people are still eating dinner, really is an odd change to the vibe of the place for a night!

The room was beautiful and the staff was amazing, esp. Kierah, Daniel, the restaurant staff, and Fonz. The private plunge pool added a nice refuge from the heat, especially since the main pool tends to get crowded early. The food was excellent. Each day, there was a different menu with outstanding options: 3 and 4 course meals. Overall, this is a great resort that allows you time to relax and connect with your partner. They also offer enhancements, like floating breakfast, massages, private dinner, and more. Oh, and the sunsets were breathtaking.

The resort is a bit far from all other activities and parts of the island, and catching a taxi could get quite pricey. However, if you are there to relax (which we were), the location should not be a problem.
