This hotel was absolutely stunning. The villas are perfect for people traveling with multiple families and the views are spectacular, the food was delicious, grounds extremely well kept and beautifully landscaped, staff very accommodating, two beautiful pools and terrific beach. Very upscale hotel highly recommended.

We had some issues with the water pressure in our villa for showers, but staff was very attentive to address the problem. Prickly pear island is beautiful but can be extremely hot if you’re going over for lunch. Lastly - there is not much around the resort so if you like to explore and get off resort it will be expensive by cab to do so.

The location is fantastic, close to St John’s and the airport, with its own private island. The staff were exceptionally polite and efficient and always remembered our names. In particular, Dougie, Tango, Jean-Marie and Jamarel all stood out. Dougie took me sailing on a few occasions - only 20 bucks for 30 mins - showing great courage and patience, I thought, given my basic skills. I got the holiday of a lifetime, thanks, in part, to Dougie. We were upgraded after there was an issue with our room: beachfront villa. The food on site is NOT poor or OK, as some reviews have stated, but well above average, and the breakfast, by European standards, is excellent. There are so many superb places to eat within half an hour that I would recommend not eating at the resort each evening, then moaning about it, but renting a car and going out. The hotel will help you rent a car.

There was a serious problem with our original room; part of a much larger issue with overall maintenance and management. I am assured the issue is now being dealt with and in fact the hotel is now under new management.

We loved the private island that is associated with the resort - Prickly Pear. We also loved the views from our room. The rooms were very spacious and the pools were nice and clean. The staff was friendly, we especially enjoyed our interactions with Tango and Jamar. This is the PERFECT vacation if you simply want to relax.

We would've liked better dining options on the resort, specifically for breakfast. The resort only offered a buffet. We also would've liked a few more supplies in the kitchen such as a blender, larger bowls, and sharper knives.

Great staff, amazing food and excellent butlers. Rude and hostile staff member at check out but only one and not the experience of the entire stay. I’d recommend the hotel without hesitation and would return again. Only observation is that reviews that mentioned how expensive the hotel food was are accurate, far more so than elsewhere. If you don’t mind that and you prefer a la carte to all inclusive as we do then this is a great place to stay. Prickly pear island made the stay too to be honest, it’s like paradise.

The one experience at check out. I’d asked for and to my understanding paid for a late check out but the admin hadn’t been managed correctly so an a Ruby staff member that interrupted the very nice lady looking in to the query continually interrupted the conversation almost implying it was my error which it wasn’t. Not the experience you want at check out when you’ve had an amazing trip. Only other thing would be in terms of frequency of cleaning, that seemed to be missed and I had to call frequently to ask for room service plates to be removed as an example- if you’re staying in one of the most expensive accommodations you’d expect more proactivity in this regard.

We spent five days at this resort. It is an excellent location and view. The infinity pool is gorgeous and the staff are very well trained and friendly. It also has its own little private island, which felt like a little getaway on its own.

The five days we spent there we had no hot water. We even ran out of water (cold) on multiple evenings. They said they were having a maintenance issues and tried to fix it. But it kept happening everyday ! Also, the resort was kept quite unclean. The pool deck always had leftover cups from the day before, and the pool was quite cloudy and filthy so was the hot tub as much as it was so pretty to sit in I found it to be quite unkept and honestly disgusting. The beach loungers I have cushions that are completely ripped and do not sit on the loungers, and there was never enough to go around for everyone.

The hotel is a true beauty, situated in a location that's hard to beat. The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the restaurant manager's kindness every morning during breakfast, and the hot tub bar staff were equally friendly and attentive.

It would be great if the hotel could consider hiring more staff to clean the glass interior of the building, as it can really impact the overall impression of the hotel. A clear and spotless glass is always a sign of quality and attention to detail, and it can make a big difference to guests. Regarding the taxi service, it might be helpful if the hotel could consider setting fixed prices for the rides or working with a reliable taxi firm to ensure that guests are charged a fair and reasonable price. Alternatively, guests could also consider renting a car or using public transportation. Finally, it would be convenient if there was an ATM available at the hotel to provide guests with easy access to cash. Breakfast should be included in the price at least.

Incredible resort on a white sand beach, infinity pools, including a private island offshore, beautiful gardens to wander. the property is full of interesting artwork that sets a theme of intrigue and wonder as you walk around the property. There are all sorts of rooms to choose from a standard room to fully equiped apartments with multiple bedrooms. The breakfast is excellent and generous and the restaurant has a high quality menu really great food. There was nothing we didn't like here, the staff are friendly and helpful. We were very lucky to see turtles hatching from their nest here on the beach.

Everything was perfect.

Breakfasts are great. The room was clean, but we'd appreciate everyday cleaning. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. I'd like to mention the spa in particular. I've traveled a lot and visited many spas in different parts of the world. The spa in the hotel is perfect. Sheneka is a highly professional and very friendly person. I had both body and facial treatment. It was one of the best spa experiences I'd ever had.

We arrived the next day after the hurricane. It was a bit messy, and stuff was moving the furniture from inside to outside the restaurant. We had to wait for a while to have our lunch. During 3 nights, we stayed, the room was not cleaned once.

The property and location was excellent - clean, modern and luxurious. The staff was lovely and level of service was impeccable. The beach and pool were both wonderful and well maintained but I have to say the staff is what sets this place apart from the rest. They were warm, kind, courteous and made us feel so special throughout our stay. Salicia, Cadeija and the helpful front desk staff took great care of our every need from booking restaurant reservations last minute to transportation to and from our excursions and airport. I cannot thank them enough for such a beautiful and relaxing time. We will definitely be back for another memorable stay.

Really nice property, with lots of activities and entertainment. Staff were super friendly.

The high prices for food and drinks, but this seems to be the norm for Antigua.
