The staff in the à la cart restaurants were very rude and arrogant but the staff in the other services and the big restaurant was super. I think you should really work on a la cart restaurants because there is always a way to talk with people on vacation!

great location, clean. Front end staff were very helpful and pleasant.

we had issues with the ac in our room , room would get very dewy to the point the floor was slippery. Some of the staff were not so friendly.

You don’t get the hotel credits that was offered in the package you only get a percentage off at the gift shop

Everything included, always food and alcohol available, beautiful rooms. Breakfast is amazing! Cocktail bar is the best. Good location but you don't need to get our of the hotel. Huge pool and private beach.

The lobby design is not very elegant or pretty. The restaurants were nice but not more. Room service dishes looked bad and disappointing, but its not really needed cause there is so much food always.the hotel beach was very crowded and much less beautiful compared to eagle beach in my opinion. From some reason the room was very moist.. The price was very high, but if you can afford it, its great.

Everything was beautiful

The buffet was okay, there wasn’t much variety but I guess it’s because of the other restaurants, same with room service there wasn’t much options.

The hotel was beautiful & staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a junior suite and our room was very large with a huge balcony & jacuzzi tub on the balcony (however, we did not use it ) we had a partial ocean view. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was large & shower was fantastic. The room came with a liquor dispenser ( we also didn’t use it) and fridge was stocked daily with large bottles of water & pop. The pool area was beautiful with plenty of room, daily activities were very entertaining & pool bar staff extremely friendly. Staff walked around to see if you needed anything from the bar often. The beach area was well kept and plenty of loungers to use. The nightly shows were fun & entertaining. The lobby bar provided delicious variety of cocktails & staff came around to tables often to take drink orders. The restaurants were first come first serve ( no pre booking) but if you got in line 30 min before open you always got a table. The food was fantastic! We chose steak & lobster most nights but they had a Japanese restaurant with delicious tapas & Italian restaurant. The buffets were fabulous as well and I am not usually a fan of buffets but everything was freshly made and delicious. They were extremely helpful with booking excursions. I would definitely stay here again!

Can’t say there was anything we didn’t like.

Room service was very nice and always ready to go above and beyond to assist. Arturo and Yolanda down in the Don Nicolas hall were so amazing and sweet. Arturo helped me plan a bday celebration for my spouse in which she loved. Yolanda took a nasty fall in the car but after helping her up, she was just the sweetest person I ever met. She deserves a raise for her hospitality and ability to get right to work after a nasty fall in front of everyone. She is a great team player.

Not much but I do specifically remember Mercedes and Sandra not being welcoming at all in the dining hall. There was a lot of eye rolling at my spouse and constantly ignoring our table. It was my first night and left a horrible impression, showing what complexion they preferred to cater to, as if we all don’t have money and we all weren’t paying guests. Nothing I haven’t experienced before, but that night I did have to do a lot of getting up to ask other workers for things I needed at my table, like a fork, water… tea etc. Those were the only two negative but very strong experiences that put a bad taste in my mouth.

Great location and good food at buffet and restaurants. Staff was friendly. Pool and beach areas were great. Close to Butterfly farm and shopping nearby. Great onsite nightly entertainment. Pool swim up bar was nice as well.

It was annoying to have only 2 elevators working so sometimes it took a long time to get one and didn't help the service elevator was broken so it was being using by staff as well to move things. Initially thought it was nice to not worry about reservations for dinner but then realized it was more stressful to get there in time to get a table because if you go too late you can't get one. Might be easier to be able to have a reservation. Room service menu was limited.

They had amazing food! the staff were nice and friendly! Entertainment every night. Beach was beautiful we stay on the beach for hours.

If I had to complain about something I would say Could have done a better job with house keeping. They don’t like to give wash rags but I’m learning that that’s every hotel or resort. Also, sheet could have been changed, we were there a week and she just mad the bed. We constantly had sand in the sheets.

The location was excellent, service was great, the pool was great, and the drinks were magnificent. The buffet at Don Nicholas was very good as well. Room was kind of old-fashioned but very clean, and I loved the shower.

The room service was very sub par. First couple of times we ordered they were over an hour late and the food was terrible. When we complained to the manager, they got better getting the food on time but the quality of food was still the same. That was pretty much the only thing we did not like.
