Loved this place! The space was great-roomy and had everything we needed. Loved that the area was calm and quiet - so peaceful! Sitting on the dock reading our books with the sound of the waves lapping at the little beach was the best! Especially grateful to the hosts for caring for the dogs on the property. They are very friendly and very well cared for. The grounds are lovely with the 2 pools and sitting areas. There is a restaurant within walking distance but you will need a car unless you want to taxi everywhere. We walked to the marina and took a sail with Dushi Life sailing that was fabulous! We love this place and will be back!

it is an excellent choice for an off the beaten path boutique hotel. it is not close to any stores or tourist attractions and you either need a car or be prepared to take a lot of taxis. one excellent fish restaurant which is a 2 min walk.

The condos are exceptionally clean. The location was behind the airport for quick access 25-30 min to each end of the island to beaches

Rental car is a must if you want to hear the ocean waves and only 1 restaurant in walking distance.

Accommodation was nice, mostly updated, super clean smelling when we walked in! The owners have obviously gone to great efforts to make the space they have enjoyable. The dock/ beach area for example is nicely done. From the patios, to the lights at night, it's a really nice place to stay. Don't let the airport proximity scare you, we really didn't hear much airport noise at all. Contactless check in and check out is nice.....effortless. The hosts even made us a reservation at the fish house (a highly rated restaurant), which is a nice place on the water in a marina about 200 m down the road.

You must have a car if you plan on staying here for an extended period of time. It is off the beaten path.

Everything. The surroundings were different than in other Aruba touristy sites, but nice, lake-like, quiet and laid-back. We like the kayak option, despite the rain…

I loved the pool and the dock across the street. We used the dock to lounge every morning and evening. We fell in love with Diva the dog as well! Very comfortable beds, beach towels, had floaters for the pool along with snorkels if you wanted to do that across the road. There was even a kayak to use. The management was very accommodating and easy to contact. Also a nice restaurant close by at the marina.

if you didn't have a rental car, it could be a bit pricey to get around but we had a car for most of our time there.

The property itself is beautiful. Very well kept and clean … dogs aside … there were dogs .. more than a few of them … they were pretty chill but you will 100% need a rental staying back there. There isn’t much within walking distance and it’s literally located behind one of the airports runways. I’m not sure what beach they spoke of in the description but there is water across the street … gated off and non accessible.

Room was nice. Owners were great with communications on which room we stayed in, how to open the front gate with the combo, pictures to help with how to use items at the condo. I had never used a lock box before, so that took a little time to figure out, but it was ok. I asked for restaurant recommendations and they sent them to me. Kitchen had what we needed. We only stayed overnight, needing to catch our cruise ship early the next day. I really liked sitting on the balcony, sipping a Coronita, watching the sun set. Great ending to an otherwise stressful day.

It was off the beaten path, but close enough to town. We thought that being on the back side of the airport would be disturbing, but it absolutely wasn’t. The property was very clean and well maintained. We even loved Ricky, Bandita, Diva and a forth one that we called Fred. Angelique was amazing! Super helpful. We cannot wait to come back and see the new addition. We have told several of our friends and some have even gotten a hold of her already. Thank you Angelique for making your home ours for a week.

We had a lovely time at the Vistalmar villa during our dive trip to Aruba. We loved the convenience of the hotel being just a minute drive from the dive shop. After our morning dives, it was nice to relax in the comforts of the villa before heading out to explore the country. Angelique takes good care of the villa, keeping it stocked with small snacks and good coffee, and she provided us with helpful instructions and recommendations for places to go. She was kind enough to let us know about the Torch parade, which was a nice treat to be able to see. We liked the tranquility of being outside of the center and enjoyed relaxing on the private pier right along the water and watching the sunset. There's even a nice restaurant just a short walk down the road. We wanted to see the sights so we rented a car, and the villa was a great home base for easily reaching everything we wanted to see.

All was good. Just be sure to rent a car, which you'll need to see the entire country in any case.
