The adult-only section of the Renaissance Wind Creek resort was perfect for a romantic couples' vacation. Some of the finest restaurants in Aruba are a short (10-15 mins), safe walk from the marina resort. The private island provided a quiet space to enjoy the beaches, and the flamingoes were an extra special attraction on the island. The boat ride to the island was quick and easy to access. All the staff in every position along the way were extremely helpful and friendly! And having the casino down the hall was an added bonus for a fun-filled, adult vacation!

The bedding was comfortable, but the pillows were way too soft and flimsy. It seems they need to add some new pillows into the rooms. A point for improvement on the island would be a guide/host to explain all the wildlife on the beaches and in the waterways.

Everything! We stayed at the family side of the property, and it was an incredible experience. The property of the resort is spectacular with sea side walkways with breathtaking ocean views, gorgeous pools, hot tubs and cafes. Birdsong awaits you as you relax fine or stroll amongst the palms and tropical flowers within the gardens of this resort. The boat taxi to Flamingo Island was above and beyond our expectations. The snorkeling was amazing!! The food is delicious and fairly priced. The rooms are very clean and updated. The staff are so pleasant and helpful. We loved Aruba and look forward to returning again soon, and will definitely book again with Renaissance Wind Creek.

The flamingo island alone makes it worth it to stay at this hotel. The best beach in entire Aruba and we went to all famous public beaches! Also these: - Extremely convenient to get to and back from the flamingo island during the day with 15 min away schedules. Always on time and super professional boat staff. - Food and drinks on the island are really tasty and comparable to cool restaurants outside (as a regular non-all inclusive person interested in local food). - Rooms are not luxurious but very comfortable, modern, clean and enough. - Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful at all places. - They don't let a lot of daypassers to come and flood the flamingo island which is what I was afraid of but it never felt too crowded and was relaxing at all times. - The most convenient location, walking distance to may restaurants, bars, shopping mall and souvenir stores.

- The rooms can use a little bit more fancy upgrades & comfort touchings. - A bit noisy at night since our room was facing the shopping mall side and there was street music late. - Was a bit disappointed with the private cabanas. Cabanas are great but for the very high price they should at least include some food and cocktails in a bundle.

I loved that Flamingo and Iguana Island was included. The staff was so nice and tried to accommodate any problems. The hotel was beautiful and not too far from the airport. Also everything was in walking distance.

It was just me n my husband. The rooms are conjoined. Nextdoor to us was a group. You could hear every word they were saying. It was like they were in a room with us. Also, we purchased an ocean suite. When we got to the room, all we could see was the pool. The ocean was hiding behind it. They fixed it by putting us in another room on a higher level, but said that it is the ocean suite and we would have to pay more for an ocean view room. I feel like they need to address that on the website.

Location is close to the airport and pretty easy to get a cab to other areas. Pool is nice and having the boat take you to the beach is clutch. The shuttle to the other for the gym is also helpful. The staff also host fun events in the lobby which is nice! They were also super helpful to my now fiancé in planning his proposal. Arlyn you are a superstar! Kym helped us find yummy foods off the beaten path and hooked me up with the turle watchers info. Cris at reception was always and helpful when needed. Jorge always greeted us warmly upon returning from our excursion and also gave some good recs. The gentleman driving the boat shuttles were super chill and nice to chat with during 10-15 minutes rides. They were super informative about the route they took and if they expected the water to be choppy. Just all around the staff was awesome. I’m very happy we went with Renaissance.

Nothing too big but it looks like the curtains need replacing. They have tiny holes probably from moths.

The staff, the property, the location, the amenities and the private beach! The food quality is the only thing that needs a little improvement. We were happy not to have added the meal plan as we thought the food was better going to the local restaurants.

We went to Aquarius and Fresco restaurants on the property. We were disappointed in the quality for the price.

I booked 2 nights on booking.com. ($957 with taxes) I paid $983 upon check-in. (+26$) I informed the hotel that it was more than when I booked. They didn't deal with it. Booking.com didn't credit me for the difference either. We signed a contract for a fixed price. They unilaterally changed the price. I paid for my consumption in cash upon check-out. The $100 deposit has not been refunded to my credit card since then. Do I have to beg for my money? (not a pending item on my card, but a charge)

This property is lovely! We stayed on the Marina (adult) side and the staff was WONDERFUL. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful and smiling. The all inclusive package was worth it for us, we enjoyed our meals and drinks and it didn't feel restrictive (sure, we'd maybe prefer top shelf but the offerings in the package were also decent). The location is exceptional! Literally everything you need is right there. Also, we enjoyed going to the ocean suites side to use the pool and eat there as well.

The adult side rooms are small and offer almost no privacy with the restroom, I found that strange. We had a really nice view though of the street/ocean

It is beautiful, welcoming, relaxing and the staff are amazing. From the bellhops to the front desk, hosuekeeping, and the restaurants, everyone is friendly, considerate and caring. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. I treated myself to a spa and Ms. Gloria was my masseuse. She was excellent!!!!!! The food was nice, although I found it to be a little pricey. The private beach, and the boat ride to the private beach, are worth the money. This is my second time staying at the Renaissance Auba and I will definitely go back again.

I thought the breakfast was overpriced at 35.00. At best, they should have charged 15.00, and that's being generous.

The Renaissance Marina Hotel in Oranjestad was an ideal place for our 1-week stay in Aruba as a couple. We greatly appreciated the separation of the family hotel (Ocean Suites) from the adults-only hotel (Marina Hotel) but enjoyed the fact that both facilities were accessible to us as guests of the Renaissance. The staff were wonderful and always helpful and knowledgeable when we had questions or requests. The inclusion of access to the Renaissance private island was a highlight of our stay, and we again appreciated the ability to enjoy an adults-only experience on that island. The location of the Marina Hotel in Oranjestad was also ideal for our ability to walk to dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops in the city within minutes. We felt safe, secure, and always had an easy time navigating this neighborhood of Oranjestad at all hours of the day and night.

While we were happy with the size and amenities of our hotel room (and the wonderful housekeeping staff), we found that the AC and bathroom fan weren't sufficient in drying out the room, which led to dampness and difficulty air-drying our clothes during our stay. The bedding, while clean and comfortable and changed regularly, developed a mildew-ish smell after a day or two that eventually became a constant, mild smell throughout the room. This was certainly not unfortunate enough to ruin our stay, but if we experience something similar in a future stay, we would be inclined to ask hotel staff for assistance with a deeper room clean or perhaps a move to a different room.
