1. It’s proximity to Wollemi National Park for hiking. 2. Very affordable 3. Amazing staff who made sure we were comfortable and welcomed at all times throughout our stay 4. Excellent food, even for my friend with dietary restrictions. The chef went out of her way to make sure we were happy. 5. Beautiful views from the upstairs balcony. It was so nice to sit here with coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening (photo is the view from the balcony)

Not much at all. The (very high) bathroom ceiling could do with a clean but it was no bother if you don’t look up. The owners have renovated the pub downstairs and have told us the next step is the accommodation upstairs. They’ve owned it almost 2 years and are doing all the right things.

Very friendly staff and a clean, comfortable bed. Shared bathrooms were very clean and as we were the only guests the 2 nights we stayed we had them to ourselves! The lounge and bar areas downstairs were warm with welcoming open fires and friendly, interesting locals. Our dinner was one of the best parmigianas we’ve ever had. Breakfast of cereal and toast was included.

The rooms are very small and most have no windows …. they do have doors with glass panels but not that you can see through so a bit claustrophobic. At our request for a room with a window the staff obligingly found us one.

the room met our needs, the breakfast setup was great, the shared facilities were clean and not overly busy even with the hotel fully booked. Meals and the fire places in the pub were fantastic. Location was great

unfortunately the TV in our room didn't work, but there was free wifi which didn't cut off like they normally do. Also the time the kitchen closed for the pub was not listed, and we missed dinner by a short time, but that is not a reflection on the accommodation.

Right from check in the staff were friendly & welcoming. Food is excellent & well worth the visit. All bathrooms were very clean.

The bed was rock hard, it was like sleeping on cement, if you can't relpace the mattress please please get decent mattress toppers. The sheets were great quality that meant nothing when unable to get comfortable. Tv's in rooms didn't work or didn't have remotes.

This place is very well equipped for a country pub. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Meals were excellent. Service was prompt. Lovely open fireplaces. All staff - hotel, bar, kitchen, were extremely helpful and friendly

It’s a country pub clean and comfortable, don’t expect luxury ie shared bathrooms etc

Very warm and comforting when arriving on a cold autumn evening, and good atmosphere, friendly locals.

Staff were excellent and friendly The chicken parmigiana was the best I have ever had. comfy bed, electric blanket so had a great night’s sleep.

the hotel was fully booked out. only 1 share shower for women. I got up at 6.45 am so I wouldn’t get held up. Facilities were very clean though. I thought the Tarif was a little steep but the staff made up for that 👍

It exceeded our expectations and was such a lovely experience! The friendly and hospitable staff really made this stay but the friendly locals gave us a night we’ll never forget!

My colleagues experience could have been made better if there was more heating in the bathroom

The staffs were really friendly, bathroom was so clean and spotless! (Love a really clean bathroom). Room was good and clean, with a nice pub and drinks. Old building but really good property inside. Had continental breakfast which I didnt expected it!

Nothing basically, we loved our stay!

Breakfast was basic, but had the essentials. The location was ideal. Despite being on the highway, it was very quiet. They let us put our motorbike out the back, where it was more secure.

I would have preferred a small cupboard/wardrobe or similar to be in the room, just so we could put our things away.
