The room was large, with a comfortable bed and plenty of counter/storage space for our things. The bathroom was a good size and the shower had good pressure and hot water. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful, and went over and above during the checkin process, escorting us to our room and explaining the complimentary items which were much appreciated (bottled water and Tim Tams!). The location was excellent - just a short stroll to the end of the main street in one direction, and another stroll to the blast furnace ruins in the other direction. The motel is connected to the Club, which offered breakfast as well as daytime dining options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location is very central to what the centre of Lithgow main street and is very quiet. Plenty of parking outside. Room was large and comfortable. I was attending a function in the club next door and I could cross to it through secure doors without even having to go onto the street. Big tick. Room was clean and well stocked with things I could use. Despite being next to a Club there was no noise or nuisance issues that I detected. The rooms can be made quite dark as I discovered when I tripped on a low lying coffee table that I did not see. Yes and the window does open.

Only downside was the entertainment system which essessially seemed to be a broadcasting system of what you could get on your phone. There appeared to be no simple watch TV programs on free-to-air channels that I would get anywhere else. Please correct me if I am wrong. Anyway I was too busy doing other things with my hobby to spend much time investigating further. Having just returned from Europe in the previous month I thought the cost of the room was overpriced for its location in this town.

Room was very clean & reasonably spacious. The bathroom was well equipped with good quality bath gel, shampoo etc. Water pressure was excellent, and this is one of the rare motels that the water does not leak out from the shower area, the shower door was well sealed that prevent the water from splashing out to the bathroom (like most motels) while showering, so we are able to keep the bathroom dry.

As the motel is part of the club, there's no one manning the reception counter, sometimes you may have to wait for a bit to check in. I think they share staffs with the club. Nevertheless, everyone was very helpful and friendly.

It is a great hotel, it has everything right there under one roof. The staff are exceptionally caring and efficient. We had dinner there our first night and it was amazing, one of the best T Bone steak meals we have ever had and a very reasonable price.

after an amazing dinner we were a little bit let down by the breakfast, it was like a greasy takeaway shop the staff were amazing though and the coffee was great. We just had breakfast elsewhere the next morning instead of there

Hotel like feel with quality rooms and features. This was my first “motel” experience and I’m very happy. Customer service was great, room was comfortable and the most important thing was the cleanliness !

Parking is plentiful but limited when I visited with the parking on the property , with cameras. There’s street parking and another offsite parking lot which you had to park in initially which I didn’t like.

Lithgow is cold at the end of May. As soon as we walked into the foyer we were greeted by a warm smile and an even warmer reception area. Our room was already heated when we walked in, good sized room and bathroom, big fluffy towels and a shower with heaps of pressure. We had a 2 night stay and if we’re ever back this way will definitely be a repeat visitor. Highly recommend.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and nice, they went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. The facilities (bar, cafe, lounge) were great and I utilised them extensively. The food quality was fantastic. The location was excellent, only 10 minutes from the train station and with plenty of amenities nearby.

This was an emergency booking due to a change in travel plans. Motel was great. Love the little things like a night light in the bathroom which meant you didn’t need to put the overhead light on and the shaving mirror in the bathroom which was good for putting make up on when you need a magnifying mirror to do so. Staff were lovely, food in the Bistro was great. Couldn’t have enjoyed our stay any more. Thank you.

The room was lovely & clean. The beds & pillows in particular are VERY comfortable! My travel companion has a bad back & chronic pain issues- they awoke feeling like they'd actually gotten proper rest, and their pain levels were the lowest they've been in years! The shower pressure & temperature are excellent! We were able to connect our personal streaming services to the in-room TV. The mini bar snacks, etc. were not at ALL overpriced. The food at the club is delicious! Very reasonably priced, great variety & the staff throughout the entire club & motel are lovely, friendly & very helpful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Lithgow Workies Club Motel for your next getaway!

It was a bit of a maze to find where to check in. Some signage leading the way would have been helpful.

Our room was clean & SPACIOUS. They supplied 2 extra pillows on the bed as requested. On top of that they also supplied 3 extra pillows, 2 extra toilet rolls, 2 extra face washers, 1 extra hand towel, 1 extra sanitary bag, 1 extra cotton bud set and. 1 extra shower cap. They also supplied 4x Complimentary Bottled Water plus 4x complimentary cookies. Body soap, hand wash, shampoo and conditioner were great too, i like the mild fragrant and they feels great on my skin and hair. The bathroom also has magnifying mirror. Those are GREAT. They should’ve called themselves HOTEL instead of Motel because the facility is so much better than some hotels we’ve stayed in the past. We had dinner at the RSL connected to it, generous portions and our steaks cooked beautifully. They have exceeded our expectations. It was our first visit to Lithgow and furst time staying here but definitely won’t be the last. We’ll be back.
