Excellent motel to stay at if you're going through Finley! I stayed here on two occasions, one for 2 nights and the other for 3 nights. The room was extremely clean and the bathrooms were newly renovated. The room had a hair dryer, iron board and along with the basic essentials. The bed was also extremely comfy and sheets emaculately cleaned. Overall, fantastic service and while it's not a 5 star hotel, I would give it 5 stars for a motel.

On arrival of the second time I stayed here, I thought I heard a rat in the ceiling and asked to change rooms and the motel owner easily accommodated and changed my room; no issues.

Great location, easy to walk in to town. Parking is off street in an internal area, so safe for our motorbikes. The room was very comfortable and the shower in the renovated bathroom had good pressure. The motel is located across the road from the lake which is great to walk around. I would recommend staying here.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The motel met all my expectations.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great communication through the app in terms of bookings etc. Clean little rooms with comfy beds, mini fridge and microwave and good bathroom.

There was a sign out front advertising a licensed restaurant, but it appeared to be permanently closed, so we had to drive a bit further down the road to find a place that was open for dinner. Although the check in staff were very friendly, their communication could have been a little better.

We had a very friendly greeting at reception. Rooms were quite small but very neat, clean & comfortable; an excellent budget option. The bathroom had been recently retiled & painted and was very nice. The bed was very comfortable, and the a/c worked well.

One thing I would suggest is that while renovating the bathrooms, it would have been sensible to put in an exhaust fan. Also, the entrance of the motel looks unwelcoming in that the grounds are unmown and untidy. It would be a really easy fix.

The staff at Finley motel are so lovely. I stayed 3 different times in the month of March and each room was very clean and the check in process was easy. The location was lovely and I enjoyed running/walking around the lake across the road in the evenings.

It would have been helpful if each room had a sharp knife as I had to go and purchase one in order to chop up my veggies. Only one of the rooms I stayed in had a chopping board also.

All new carpet, tiles and a lovely walk in shower. The bed was comfortable, crisp linen and soft towels.

The fridge was 25 years old and needed defrosting, The exterior is looking tired, could do with a refresh and some healthy plants.

Room was clean and had enough for an overnight stay. The kitchenette was all that was needed but bring food for the mixrowave if you want warm meals.

The staff were very friendly. I liked it when I arrived late at night, l had the room waiting for me. No additional formalities, the room was open, keys inside, the heater and lights were on, and the room was nice and warm and smelled nice.

Not enough tea/ coffee/ suger or milk. Would like bigger cups, perhaps mugs. No glasses to drink water from. Not enough cutlery

It’s close to where I wanted to go. Opposite side is a park and another bbq area

The kettle in room #4 is old and smelly And the chairs at the bbq area needs to update. Some chairs are torn and worn off. Needs some new chairs.
