I had the opportunity to stay at the Cobb Inlander as I was travelling North at the beginning of August, and then on my return at the end of August as I was heading home. I believe the separate rooms I used had been recently refurbished, with new paint, with both looking very neat and tidy, with adequate furniture, good soft beds and pillows and towels, and a very clean bathroom. There was also adequate facilities for tea, coffee etc. Nearby were sufficient fast food and hotel establishments which provided excellent food to meet all tastes.

I stayed at the Cobb a few years ago and it was very outdated, and not very pleasant. I decided to try the Cobb again after finding out it has gone into new management. The Hotel room exceeded my expectations, they have done such a wonderful job renovating and freshening up all the Hotel rooms. So glad I decided to give it another try, my next visit to Hay we will definitely come back and stay at The Cobb again as it was so comfortable and ticked all the boxes for my family

Everything but the parking. Room was great, had all the facilities we needed.

The parking. Not enough parking spots. Some parking spots people can block you in. Seems to be first in best dressed, others had to park on street. If you went out in car to get a meal when you came back your parking spot was taken by someone else.

Easy to locate on the main rd. but unit was quiet, set back. All we needed to relax and feel comfortable when travelling. Shopping hub near by. washing machine and dryer available on the premises, no charge. Friendly and helpful reception. Meals available at their restaurant, or room service. Pool, tennis courts, BBQ. Microwave in room. Overall excellent provision at a very reasonable charge. would stay there again. Thank You

Room was very clean and comfortable, decent size

Parking was a bit odd down the section where we were. Difficult parking spot for a couple of rooms. Office was locked when we got there, which was OK if the bell had worked. It didn't, so we had to ring on phone. Also, we were not aware that the room was not serviced daily. Would have appreciated knowing that

The owner Danny has been very responsive to our requests, the rooms have been freshly painted and the motel is clean and beautiful. Ideal for family and friends to stay in Hay after a long journey. Beds have been clean, there was a swimming pool which we never used but was used by other families. Bathrooms were clean and tidy.

Everything has been great

Our room was refurbished but the bathroom seemed untouched and old. The towels were very soft though. The bedroom was very clean and the bed comfy, so we were able to have a nice sleep after a long drive. The motel is also in the main street so walking distance to the eateries.

Leaking & small shower cubicle. Bathroom needs upgrading. No Channel 9 channels so couldn’t watch the olympics.

We arrived much later than we had planned and hoped; the staff were SO accommodating, even putting the heater on for us so we would be nice and warm on arrival. The rooms are lovely and clean and the bed was an actual double, not 2 singles pushed together!! It was also the comfiest bed of our trip The room we stayed in had a fridge, kete, microwave and toaster and glasses, plates cutlery etc- handy inclusions to make the stay more comfortable and convenient

Not much comes to mind.... I'm nit picking if I say the all in one shampoo/conditioner/body wash, but I'm sure there would be others who think this is really handy 😂

Our room was freshly painted and had good facilities. It had an older style mattress but was very comfortable. Location is a bonus right in the middle of town close to dining venues. Outdoor chairs were appreciated on a warm night. Great value for money. We love Hay.

Car parking is pretty tight and a bit haphazard.

I was able to fill the kettle without any trouble using the tap.

I left a led motion sensor light on the fridge and phoned to recover it and never received a phone call back. I even indicated that I would be traveling that way and could stop in to retrieve the light. Not happy with the response.
