Fantastic service right from the get-go! Easy to get to and plenty of up-close parking. Welcoming staff who helped with an early check in (I know it's not a given, but these guys made the extra effort!). The room was such a pleasant surprise - modern, clean, comfortable and well appointed. I was staying at the venue as we had a function at the Hotel. The support from all staff involved was exceptional (shout out to Brittney and Liam). Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone that wants to hire a fantastic venue for a function and have the option of a very comfortable stay.

The staff at reception were amazing very friendly and very helpful. I must say at first we were sceptical about noise level from the highway, but we must say we didn’t hear a thing. Fantastic night sleep, the bed was so comfy. The room was large and exceptionally clean, really nice touches throughout the room and a real feeling of luxury. The shower has great pressure and all hygiene products supplied good quality. The car park is just for motel guests, really wide carparks. The hotel has all day meals a fantastic plus. We will stay here again definitely.

The water from the shower goes out onto the floor. No drama though.

The food was fabulous, the service in the restaurant and the lovely lady who checked us in were just fabulous. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to my friends that this is a great place to stay if ever they were heading out your way. Great place!

We were in a disabled room and it was fabulous, how ever for my husband who is disabled hated the bed, it wasn't great for him but that's because he is paralysed down the whole left side and he has a brain injury so the bed for him wasn't great, I liked the bed but I'm not disabled. Also there needs to be a disability car park close to the entrance to make it easier for the disabled. I believe that is actually a legal requirement. My husband is a large man in a wheelchair so it was extremely difficult getting him in and out with ease. Fortunately, the lovely lady who checked us in was only too happy to help me, she was absolutely amazing.

Convenience of accommodation to dining area & bar/ gaming facilities

Unruly behaviour of younger patrons in gaming area early evening. Staff continued to serve 1 person who was obviously intoxicated and arguing with staff. I felt a manager should have been in assistance to defuse the situation.

the service and room were fine. room service came promptly and I did feel safe. Staff were lovely and super helpful

The air conditioner was very noisy and did cause sleep problems. The view over the back from a little window was not good and I felt that this should have been reflected in the price.

Rooms are newly renovated - very modern, clean and comfortable. Initially I was worried there would be some noise from the main highway outside but the sound proofing is amazing - didn’t hear a thing from outside or from neighbouring rooms

Location was the great and room was quite large. Possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The price could have been a little lower - even though we could not fault the staff or room it is ultimately a motel at a pub and just seemed a little pricey - we would, however, stay there again.

Thought Porters Plainland hotel looks ordinary from the outside, don't be fooled. The hotel area is a new addition with excellent sized, modern suits. Our double room was on the ground floor, with easy access from the car park. There was air conditioning and complimentary wi fi (unsecured) a king sized, very comfortable bed, with good quality linen. There was a small kitchenett area with complimentary tea & coffee and a carton of milk in the fridge. Cups, wine glasses, tumblers and cereal bowls were all provided. The room was serviced each day. There were complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, a large walk in shower and ample towels. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Porters restaurant is obviously very popular with locals and though we managed to get a table without pre booking, there was a slight wait for food. Meals were very large, (we took to sharing) but staff were happy to box up any leftovers. There was a very good menu with daily specials on the board. Cost of food and drink were comparable to elsewhere. Staff worked really hard to deliver quickly and efficiently. Altogether a great experience.

The view from our room was disappointing as it looked out on the air conditioning units of a building at the back. However, this was shielded by curtains and did not distract from the overall ambience of the room

Even though we were arriving on Christmas day and the reception was unmanned they were very clear with communicating and housekeeping even called me early as they knew we wanted to check in asap to get ready. So the very moment our rooms were ready they called to advise me.best service I've had in a long while and the rooms very much exceeded our expectations

I left early in the morning so did not eat breakfast. The room was lovely and all the little things that were provided really made it feel luxurious. Even the herbal tea which was much appreciated at 5am before I left. I would highly recommend staying here.
