I needed to book a place with good air conditioning because Ipswich Qld was far too hot and humid for Tasmanian visitors like my aged mother. The aircon was turned on as promised and lovely to relax in. The beds were firm and well provided for with blankets and 3 pillows for each person. The kitchen was adequately set up and super clean like the rest of the flat. Plenty of suitcase stands and heaps of storage cupboards. Balcony well set up with a great view day and night. The communal pool, BBQ and gym were warm but popular with all our visitors. Staff were all kind and efficient especially Kerrin on reception who sorted out our technical issues with the Foxtel. Location outstanding, parking practical and price reasonable for what you got.

No egg flip is provided which made bacon and eggs rather difficult. The frypan was midget with a metal handle that burnt my brother's hand. We told Reception and Kerrin came up with apologies, an egg flip and a bigger pan. We also needed a lesson on working the coffee pod machine.

The location was excellent being in walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shopping, etc. and the facilities of the hotel were very good. We were fortunate to have a room with lovely views of the parklands. The apartment was very spacious and clean and a very comfy bed.

Unfortunately, when we arrived we were advised that there was a problem with the plumbing and that there was no hot water in the entire the complex. We were told that it was being investigated and that it would be remedied in a few hours. Unfortunately, there were complications resulting in no hot water being available until midday the next day. The management and staff were all very apologetic and provided monetary compensation to us and everyone impacted by this issue. All in all, they did their best for all guests to remedy this problem as a matter of urgency and we could not ask for more than that. We were very impressed by the kindness and professionalism of management and staff.

The lady at the reception was amazing, she was very kind and she helped us book at the oaks Aurora and we are very grateful to her as we are enjoying the place right now. That lady is one in a million, she was very friendly and we felt very welcomed. Bravo my sister from another continent. thank you we loved the jacuzzi and the pool so much. we'll done oaks!

the sheets in between the duvet for the children's room had blood and that was disgusting. the duvets were just put in between two sheets instead of duvet cover, very unhygienic as the inner was out all the time.

The view was amazing we were located across river link, the library uh it was amazing. the size of the bed was so big and it was extra comfy. the ladies downstairs are amazing as always. we took a night stroll near the gym and pool and it was amazing didn't swim as it was cold but the bbq had the cleaning supplies(bonus) easy access into our room.

maybe more milk, sugar and coffee in the room. there was a smell from under the kitchen sink when I ran the water but left the water running and the smell went away.

- Loved the beds ( So comfy) - Staff were very friendly and accommodating - Beautiful view and close to shops - Loved the shutters for the balcony - Loved the little food baskets for customers that were an option to purchase ( Such an incredible idea )

- The first elevator seemed a bit sketchy to go in sometimes. - The entry gate to the car park remained open for a long period of time. ( Allowing anyone from the street to walk in) - Tv always struggled with connection

Staff were friendly with superb customer service. We were surprised on entering our cozy room as we didn't expect a personalised greeting card with treats and activity packs for the kids. Our stay was very pleasant especially with the exceptional service from the Staff before checking in, during our stay and of course on checking out of this Hotel. Noticed a few unclean areas around the facilities and room but nonetheless Staff were exceptional.

Great location, lovely clean rooms and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable.

There was safety issue in the bathroom.. where you had to step into the bath wasn’t really safe. No safety rails to hold onto to get into the shower or to hold onto when in the shower. This safety issue needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Also cushions in both the lounge room and bedroom need to be cleaned more often. No hand towels or face washers are supplied.

We were in Queensland for my niece’s wedding recently and we stayed at the Oaks Aspire Suites in Ipswich. The room were clean & comfortable with most rooms providing great views of the surrounding area and the staff bent over backwards to make our stay as enjoyable & as comfortable as possible. I’d definitely have no hesitation in staying there again.

The hotel’s location was walking distance to shops and cafes. Basement parking was good. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms had all facilities and were clean. The pool was fantastic overlooking the cathedral. We used the pool BBQ facilities and they were great. Gym was good. Hotel beside the rail line but we didn’t hear the trains.

The only suggestion would be some shade sails over the pool.

Check in staff were excellent. They had that friendly and relaxed approach that is typically old school Queensland. It made me relax. The apartment was a good size with a TV in the lounge and bedroom. There were tables for eating both inside and al fresco on the balcony.

The kitchen was not equipped well enough to be useful and the room only had a bar fridge - so it really made self catering impractical. We were on the same side of the building as the train line which was surprisingly loud.
