The Benson Court Motel is a great place to stay if you are visiting Brisbane. The rooms are great and very clean with great amenities. I completed a after hours check in and the instructions were clear and simple. Location is amazing being close to public transport, restaurants and shopping. If you are keen, it is a great walk along the river to Brisbane City.

The bed was a little uncomfortable for me but reasonable and maybe just fine for some people. Due to the amazing location there was a bit of road noise so I wore earplugs to sleep.

The room fittings and equipment were quite dated but everything was clean, the appliances worked and the kitchen had enough equipment to allow basic self catering. Despite being beside a main road the traffic noise was not intrusive.

It's a minor issue but the bed sheets were too small for the bed and didn't tuck in underneath the mattress so, because I toss and turn a lot in my sleep, they kept rucking up underneath me during the night.

The rooms were spacious and the bedding was comfortable. We had a small lounge and a dining table also. I really enjoyed the outlook onto the private courtyard. We had a hire car, so the location suited us as a base, and it was only a short stroll to the shops for groceries and a few dining options.

It would have been handy to have some basic crockery and cutlery. Just a bowl, knife, fork spoon would have been useful as the room is set up for a basic level of self-catering (fridge, microwave, dining table) It was great that the rooms were serviced daily however as we were holidaying, we weren't prepared for the pre-9am housekeeping! So we opted to pass on this service for two of our three mornings.

Motel is close to buses and trains and ferry, so we could easily travel. Room was large and bed was large so we had plenty of room to relax. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and we could use the barbecue to cook breakfast. The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful.

Maybe a fan in the bathroom would have helped but it wasn't a bug problem.

Last minute need to stay in Brisbane in the Toowong area led us to Benson Court Motel. Great location, close to train station and shops at Toowong Village. Scored an undercover carpark which was a bonus. Surprised by the size of the room and the kitchen and its facilities. Very pleasant staff.

Can’t think of anything though some may be bothered by nearby passing of the trains. It didn’t worry us.

I have stayed at the Benson Court a few times over the last few years. It is very convenient to the University of Queensland and to downtown Brisbane with bus, train and ferry connections close by. It has always been clean and functional. My room this time had clearly been refurbished and was very nice.

While the location is great it also means that it is a little noisy, particularly with a train line close by. Reception closes at 6pm but this isn't a problem as they will arrange to make your room keys available to you after hours.

The room was basic, but clean and had everything that I needed for my one night stay. Having a proper sink for washing up etc was good, though I did not need it on this occasion. The motel was handy to the city and the university, via public transport, so suited me well. Being close to Toowong Village meant it was easy to get to the local pub, restaurants and cafés, as well as a train and bus stops.

The door lock was not what you'd expect in a hotel these days and was rather flimsy. There was no heavier bar latch or chain to compensate. A solo female guest might feel a bit nervous. With a rail line at the back and main road at the front, I was worried about noise when I got there, but neither bothered me and I slept well.

The Benson Court Motel is located very close to the Wesley Private Hospital. My husband had to go into hospital for a few nights and it was so easy for me to go to and from the hospital each day from the motel. The staff were very friendly and our room was comfortable clean and had all the amenities we needed. Lovely garden.

The staff at the Benson Court Motel make all the difference - they're friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It's run by a lovely young couple who clearly knew the local area well and could help us with directions and public transport etc. They were just delightful. The motel's location is easily walkable from Toowong Village (small shopping mall), the local train station, bus stop, and ferry/ river cat stop, as well as a plethora of restaurants, cafes, and pubs. It's also accessible via a short bus ride or 5 minute car journey to the University of Queensland, and bus ride or 10 minute car journey to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre (massive mall). The motel's wifi was reliable and fast.

Kitchen well equipped. Bed comfortable. Close to the shopping centre.

There was no light over the dining table and no light over the easy chairs to enable reading. Bathroom and shower quite small. Refrigerator badly needed the icebox defrosting and the door of the icebox was broken.
