Very clean, bed very comfy, good curtains, heating/cooling good. Breakfast was good. good choice etc. Great Coffee

The shower leaked under the door, so I put and extra towel down there. Not enough shelving in the bathroom for ladies make-up and toiletries. The safe did not lock easily. The Ironing board cover needs replacing. A Microwave would have been handy to heat meals as no Dinning in the evening, only breakfast. Lots of restaurants and cafes very close by, as well as supermarket, chemist, bottle shop, clothing and shoe stores etc. All that you need really.

I loved everything about the hotel in terms of the wheelchair access available. After having a terrible experience with another hotel when arriving in Brisbane, we were pleasantly surprised at the friendliness and help the staff at the Kingsford provided for a last minute booking late at night and the provision of an early check in (at 10am!) so that we could get ready in time for a wedding we had to go to.

The only thing I would recommend they do to the wheelchair accessible room is to have a queen size bed instead of a king size bed so that there is more room to put the wheelchair next to the bed at an angle to do safer transfers from wheelchair to bed.

The location was great. Near restaurants and the ferry. Had a cafe for breakfast and converted to a bar at night. Place was clean and quiet.

The glass bathroom walls and door. Could be seen in the shower when the door was opened to the corridor for all passing by. Could be seen using the toilet by the other occupant of the room. Frosting stopped higher than the toilet. Shower was frosted glass but everything could still be seen. This was not a pleasant feeling.

Easy to find and simply laid out. Reception staff were friendly and good food options exist within a short three minute walk outside the hotel. Train station is a short drive from the hotel.

There’s a very limited quantity of parking for guests - maybe half the volume. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned well - the back of the basin where dripped soapy water builds up and around the base of toilet pan. The rooms are of adequate size but could do with a small wardrobe to hang clothes. No pillow options other than the two supplied for the queen bed which were quite lumpy. Lastly, reception was not staffed when I visited at 0830 to check out. I waited for a few minutes but had no success.

I enjoyed staying at the Kingsford Smith Brisbane Airport hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and modern looking. It was quite close to the Brisbane Airport Domestic terminal and not very far from the Brisbane CBD. It was very close to the event I went to Brisbane to see. I highly recommend it to travellers.

The room did not have a microwave oven to reheat food I had purchased eleswhere. It was not as close to the Brisbane Airport Domestic terminal as I thought it was going to be. There were some eating places/restaurants across the road from the hotel and a Woolworths. But it was not easily accesible by walking to other shops and eating places/restaurants. Also most of the eating places/restaurants were shut during the day time on a weekend and only the Woolworths was open.

We stayed only 1 night at the Kingsford Brisbane Hotel as we were catching a morning flight the next day. This hotel is located close to the ferry, which was convenient for going downstream to the Howard Smith and Southbank wharves. There are also restaurants nearby and even a grocery store across the street. We parked at the hotel, which had limited spots, but there was an overflow parking lot 2 doors down. Our queen room was modern and very clean. We did not hear any road noise, even though this hotel is located on a major street. We also appreciated the complimentary bottles of water and extra pillows.

I wish the cafe opened at 6 am instead of 7 am so we could go there for breakfast.

Our room was well presented, clean and quiet. The bed, while firm, was comfortable. While for our one-night stay it was not a problem that there wasn’t any hanging space for clothes, this may be an issue for longer stays. The tap mixer for the shower was different and it took a while to determine how to receive hot water. There is onsite car parking but with limited capacity. The staff were cheerful and helpful upon arrival. We did not make use of the on-site restaurant but walked the short distance to Racecourse Road where there are a number of cafes for dining.

The bathroom’s door is the same design as a shower screen door with only the centre being frosted glass. Consequently, there is a lack of privacy when using the toilet.

Amazing service, our flight was delayed and the hotel phoned us to explain after hours check in, which was super easy. The room was so comfortable and there were extra pillows in the room for us to use. Our breakfast was delicious and we used the luggage storage when we went out for the day after check out. A staff member even called us to let us know we had left a charger behind... would highly recommend this hotel

The staff are amazing here, so helpful, always big smiles, nothing is too much of a hassle to help with. The room was perfect, best shower we’ve had while travelling, so comfortable and so near the airport but also really near the city-cat ferry that goes all the way through Brisbane centre; a fantastic way to see the city and meet great people, especially as I only had 20 hours in town. There are really good restaurants very near by and a supermarket over the road.
