Close to the airport, and close to some really cool shops and good places for coffee. Able to access buses and trains easily from here. Had everything you would need if you were self-catering. I had friends staying in other rooms and some had laundry facilities, mine didn't but it wasn't an issue as it was at the start of my holiday. Had a lovely balcony area to sit outside.

There are a number of rooms on the second floor but there is no lift. This meant as an older female, I had to drag my heavy suitcase up the stairs and then back down again - which were steep and not very wide. I would recommend asking for a ground floor room if you have a lot of luggage. I found the road noise loud upstairs and needed to go buy earplugs as the morning traffic noise was very loud.

This old style motel is in a great location and was a reason for my stay. I was grateful for the staff member at check in changing my street facing room to a quieter one. The place is basic but you have everything you need. My room seemed to have an upgraded bathroom which I appreciated. Makes a difference in the stay. The carpet needs a bit of something but I am sure they will get there. The fact that this basic room was more expensive than a recent stay in a 4 star hotel in Melbourne will tell you everything you need to know about it all. Overall it's a cute old place.

Great room in a handy location close to airport, cafes and restaurants. Drive to airport in the morning was under 15min. Staff were really helpful with instructions on parking and how to check in outside of normal hours Loved being able to use a ceiling fan instead of aircon. Really comfy bed

It was not an issue for us but worth sharing that you are close to a train line and depending on wind direction under the flight path for planes taking off. My wife did not even notice although woke early and thought light sleepers might need to be aware. Trade off of a great location, not much you can do about it to be honest

The woman at reception was very welcoming and the property was comfortable and clean. The room had everything I needed for my stay. The location met my needs for a shop at DFO and a concert at Brisbane Entertainment Centre and overall I was happy with my choice.

The street around to property was noisy first thing in the morning which made it hard to sleep in. Not really in control of the property itself.

Was only there for 1 night but was absolutely perfect. Nice clean modern facilities. Staff member that greeted us and checked us in was friendly and very helpful. Great sized room with private balcony. Enjoyed my 1 night there, close to airport as needed. He even pre booked our very early start Taxi which arrived right on time.

Clean, comfortable, quite (save for planes overhead which is to be expected so close to airport), helpful staff, close to shops and airport.

Had difficulty getting electricity on, but even though i arrived late the staff quickly and helpfully sorted it out. Pillows were a little hard for my liking.

It was well managed, had almost every modern convenience you might need for your stay, was neat and clean, and staff were always pleasant and helpful. The showers were hot with great pressure and there’s a bath for the kids, with sliding partitions to stop water splash onto the floor. The washing machine and dryer both work well, there were 2 balconies, split-system air conditioners and ceiling fans, and even an oven in the kitchen, with a decent sized fridge and freezer.

The double bed was actually 2 king singles pushed together. The original quilt was one single laid lengthwise across the bed, but we found a full-size quilt in the cupboard. The description says no reservation required for private parking, however we arrived on a late flight and had to park our hire car on the street as all the bays were taken. Finally, it’s not a comfortable experience giving your credit card details over a public speaker in the dark because their policy states that after-hours arrivals need to provide a bond. This needs to be changed so it is withdrawn with the booking, and refunded as required.

Fabulous location close to the race track, apartment was exceptionally clean and the staff were very accomodating with offering us an early check-in which was greatly appreciated with a newborn baby.

Apartment is very dated, bathroom has been renovated but the rest of the apartment is very old.

Staff were super friendly and was in a great location

Although it was clean, it was quite dated and could do with a bit of TLC. The bathroom looked rather new but the kitchen and the loungeroom furniture could do with an update. Everything was functional and did the job.

It was close to the race course and yhe club

We got told we could have the apartment near the pool but when we got there we were told they were getting renavating but next day someone was in there and they put us up stairs which i didn't like up the stairs been a senior
