Close to a family member and the cleanliness was excellent

The shower was not very good, low water pressure

We booked this Motel for its location, only around 10 mins out from Brisbane BNE airport (international terminal) and there is supermarket and food outlets around 200 metres away. Service staff was very friendly and showed us how to use the smallish luggage lift to bring our heavy luggage up to level 2 and back down when checking out the next day. The family room is quite spacious for our group of 3 adults and 2 children.

The lift car is big and strong enough for a 28-inch large luggage (our heaviest one was around 26kg), that's good. However, the lift car is around 3+ feet above ground level. This means we gotta lift a heavy luggage high up before it could be loaded into the car; some guests are going to struggle for that. For small or light luggages/bags, we don't even need to use that lift. It would be wonderful if the lift's loading height could be lowered to near ground level to facilitate easier loading and unloading.

As a place to stay for the night before a morning flight from Brisbane airport, I found the Clayfield Motel very good. Although a little dated, the room was comfortable, and the shuttle service to the airport was very useful. You can also get into the centre of Brisbane by train from Clayfield station very easily.

It's on a very busy main road. However, with the windows closed the noise level was OK. Unfortunately the room I'd booked with a spa bath wasn't available because of a problem with leaking water so I was given a standard room instead. I got a complimentary breakfast as compensation, but this was just some products provided in a room with a fridge, you had to prepare (and clear up) everything yourself.

Having stayed before it was easy to move from car rental property to this location. Met by very friendly staff who assisted with suitcase upto the level (accommodation) above - be aware that steps to rooms are narrow and steep and somewhat slippery (there is a luggage lift but too difficult to figure out and it isn't at floor level, suitcases need to be lifted into it). The stay was great, walking distance to areas of interest and various shopping (retail/food) outlets. Breakfast which was included (for this stay) is a help yourself style in a dining area and provides all the essentials for an up and go day.

Location was great, short uber drive from airport and dfo (a must visit btw), across the street from a row of takeaway shops like subway pizza etc and a cute market with a super market coffee stand and fish and chip shop all very popular with the locals. 20 minutes easy walk to a woolies. Room was exceptionally clean and well insulated with cooling. Cool water in the fridge on arrival was a nice touch and luggage lift so handy! Could not have carried our bags up otherwise. Although near a very busy road easy access for uber and pretty quiet in room. Pool looks great and clean, staff happy to help with lending stationary. Water pressure is horrendous and towels are like micro fibre so hard to get dry. Pillows are flat but more pillows available in the cupboard. Had trouble finding a hotel with 2 beds for 3 guests for some reason so very happy with the double bed and single bed in room very comfortable. The price was unbeatable for location and facilities and cleanliness of room. Would opt to stay again

Very comfortable, nice to cool off in the pool, adequate facilities and close to airport. Good value for money. Clean and well maintained. This place is always my consistent choice for staying before flying out the next day. Friendly kind staff. Great luggage lift for stairs.

I don't like the old style hotel hair-dryer, just not adequate to dry my hair. Having some cutlery available and bowl / plate for uber eats would be ideal. Impossible to order food and eat, cutlery never comes despite requests from uber, having those facilities in a hotel would be ideal. Also, a bible is not present. All hotel rooms should have a Holy Bible as they once did. I will always wish for a Holy Bible from the Gideons ministry in my hotel rooms. Unfortunately booking early ubers is $45 to airport with a $10 reservation fee now. That's a factor to consider in an airport stay. Wish I could use their courtesy shuttle but my flights are 5am ones.

We stayed for a day and felt very safe within its secure building, my family in our first floor room, and our car in the sheltered parking lot. Steven received us with a smile at Reception when we arrived and chatted with us again when we checked out. The housekeeping staff were friendly yet professional too, and the room, amenities and facilities were top notch. We will definitely stay here again.

I like the place! its clean, its near the airport and near food shops,supermarket, a gospel church, and near the clayfield train station. The room was clean and looks good and tv and coffee is provided. The area was quiet and very comfortable bed. Id come back to this place the next time id go back to Brisbane.And also, they have airport drop off for free. THANKS CLAYFIELD MOTEL! We had a wonderful stay!🙏🌸🌺💕

Its actually almost perfect. Only there is no bidet in the toilet but not a problem. The place was great!🤗

Was impressed with the level of organisation and communication around our late arrival and getting our key. The included shuttle service to the airport in the morning was a real bonus. The room itself was clean, roomy and well laid out.

The main disadvantage of this accommodation is no option of ground level rooms and lack of disabled access. We didn't register this when first booked and wife only just had a recent hip replacement. For the cost of this accommodation would have thought a lift would be installed.

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, comfortable and well provisioned even providing a tea towel and offering crockery and cutlery. The motel is situated on a busy main road but a short walk away is an extensive park area which was pleasant to stroll through. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

There isn’t a lot that the hotel can do about it, but there is no lobby for sitting in if you are waiting to go to the airport for a later flight. There is a pleasant swimming pool area but not practical if the weather is poor.
