Great value for money apartment with balcony close to the Brisbane domestic and international airport! It has a little kitchenette with utensils, cutlery, a sink and microwave! Our room had a cool little coffee pod machine with all complementary tea and coffee etc. we had a great sleep! Could not fault! We ordered uber eats for dinner and enjoyed a few great prices cold beers at the local bowling club a really short walk away to! Great/ central location and there was a cool luggage lift to get our luggage to level 2 which is the level we stayed on! We checked out at 5 am and just put the door opening cards back in the envelope in the lockbox that we checked in by! Easy as and very quiet area too! 😇 AAA+++

2brm Appt at 18 Lamington St, Ascot. Very pleasant stay. Quick & easy self-check-in, spacious room, comfortable bed, clean kitchen & bathroom. I loved that there was an ice machine down stairs free for guests to add to their bevies. Close to train station, shopping centre, botttle shop and short taxi ride to the airport. Despite the train station directly across from the premises and a major road 150mtres away, there was absolutely no noise disturbance, ensuring an uninterrupted & comfy night sleep.

Unfortunately, the lift was not operating, which was a minor inconvenience for me, but others may have struggled with their luggage to get to the upper levels via the stairs. This may since have been rectified. While the Kitchen was very well equipped, a small chopping board would have been a handy inclusion.

Surprisingly quiet room given it was a shared accommodation with lots of people there. I just needed a spot to stay before a super early flight out of Brisbane and this did the trick. It sort of felt like a mix of hostel and hotel vibes since some people were traveling, others seemed to be setup there a bit more permanently, but even with everyone staying in the same hallway as me it was quiet and I didn't hear any noises, talking or doors banging. Shared bathrooms were kept clean and nice that there was a kitchen if people wanted to use it!

Because the kitchen is shared by everyone it was a little bit dirty. Not nearly as bad as it could've been, but if you're a germophobe or clean freak it might put you off

This was such a lovely place and so easy to get to by train. We booked for 4 adults (2 parents and 2 over 16 year old kids). Our room actually had two separate rooms- one for the parents and then another room with 2 single beds for the kids. It was very nice and quite spacious. It also had a little balcony with a dining table. Staff were lovely and very helpful when the lock on one of our bags wouldn't open. The directions provided by staff in emails were very clear and thorough- we were able to easily find both locations as they are just around the corner from each other. Sad that I didn't remember to take photos.

The new lady on reception (Sylvia? 🤔) was brilliant in her assistance and follow-up. We inadvertently booked the wrong year, and she was instrumental in getting it sorted. When we arrived, Ian was equally as helpful and efficient. We loved our room. Bigger than we expected, very clean and quiet. It was a hot day and the air-conditioning was on when we arrived. Very thoughtful. We used the shared bathroom, again very clean, his and hers toilet. Additional sink and small fridge in room. Sadly, we left before breakfast was served but would definitely stay again.

A comfortable stay with lots of amenities including lots of tea and coffee in the room and a good choice in continental breakfast of toasts, cereal, yoghurt and fruit. Very easy to use with key safe after hours and close to the airport, shops and pharmacies close by. Also didn't realise Thrifty car rental is just next door if you need to hire a car is very convenient.

The shared bathroom can sometimes be a bit inconvenient but I completely understand for the price and quality.

Location was great for our stay. The room could have been dusted correctly, it was very dusty on power points and even when I used a wine glass, it left a dust ring including on the glass itself. I did clean the glasses and left a note for your staff. Just a little more attention to detail is needed. The entry hall way needs a good clean, its a little daunting when walking to the room. Other than those couple of things it was satisfactory.

Was easy to find with clear after hours instructions and had everything you needed.

The fridge leaked. The shower leaked across the floor. Despite booking a room that slept 3 people, there was only 1 towel in the room & no bath/shower mat. Due to arriving after hours we couldn't do much however more towels were bought to our room in the morning once I phoned reception when it opened & asked for them. By this time, we'd already made do with one as we had an early start.

Julie the manager is very friendly. The room was all I needed. Small and Compact but clean and serviceable. The shared toilet and bathroom was clean and within easy access to my room. I enjoyed chatting to the other travellers in the beautiful garden setting. Although situated on a busy thoroughfare in Ascot the traffic noise was minimal. Shops are located a 5 minute walk away with everything a traveller would require. I chose this location due to a 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. It was also a short taxi ride from the train station when I arrived from Central Station.

I liked it that the name said it all - it is Budget Accommodation - nothing fancy, but all the basic bases covered. Tea and Coffee and biscuit in bedroom, airconditioning, sink in room. Bathroom and toilet facilities were shared but fine. Some people were seen smoking in areas outside the hotel but the rooms were smoke free and fine. The breakfast was very basic - toast, cereal, tea and coffee - and did the job. Location pretty good for one night stay between airport and international cruise terminal. Staff allowed late check-out on request. Supermarket close by and shops about a 12 minute walk to restaurants etc.
