This hotel was excellent. Great communication from staff right from the start. Our room was clean and comfortable. I expected more noise from the road and aircraft but it was mostly quiet. The location was perfect for us being only 10 minutes drive to the airport and a very straight forward drive. It's also opposite an impressive park with all kinds of recreational facilities, and a food precinct just past the park with heaps of quality restaurants as well as an IGA.

The pillows were a bit hard for my liking but no big deal. Everything else was great.

Location is excellent, parking excellent, rooms very quiet and soundproof, furnishings comfortable, no microwave was a minus, bathroom small but functioned well, walk to any number of good restaurants, Woolies metro 4 mins walk, A/C probably about the best I've ever encountered super cold, very fast, and it was a very hot day, staff very pleasant, and smiling , hotel is kept very tidy and well maintained. Manager very helpful, and accommodating , will stay here again. Lovely big park opposite, with big play area for kids and walking track.

Only complaint was the mattress had probably hit it's use by date, a little collapsed in the centre.

We arrived after midnight after a delayed flight and left by check out time. It was easy to find and comfortable for the short time we required it. Wayne made check in very easy and communication from him was great. Very happy with our short stay. Got the sleep we needed before our drive home.

The only small whinge we have was arriving so tired and late, we had trouble getting a park. The one proper spot that was available had a big four wheel drive taking up that much room we couldn't get out of the car. Not sure if the parks are small or this 4 wheel drive was just too big. We found another odd spot to park in the end. Not the motels fault. It was just a full house.

Location, location, location, but don’t forget the PRICE. So you have an early morning flight or you are concerned about the inconsistency of the early morning Brisbane traffic, and you are looking for somewhere to stay, at or near, the Brisbane airport. You simply want a room of adequate size, clean, reasonably modern, hot water and a comfortable bed. Well, the Airport Ascot Motel has ticked all the boxes so far. LOCATION, on Kingsford Smith Drive, only 10 minutes to the airport, 400M to Portside Wharf, with more restaurants than you “can poke a stick at”, an IGA supermarket and a nearby ferry terminal for your 50 cent fare to the Brisbane CBD, and the new Queens Wharf (Star Casino) and other city attractions. Almost forgot, the PRICE, half that of the hotels at the airport, according to my Tour Director (my wife), so you can’t really go wrong. RECOMMENDED.

Not really a dislike but you will need to be planning to park your car at the airport. Probably not financially practical if you have to get a taxi or Uber to the airport

Location was great, parking at the front door, Wayne was fantastic with his detailed instructions on arriving after office hours. Self check in was so easy. Our room was very nice, shower was awesome, bed and pillows were very comfy. We stayed for 2 nights and it was very quiet and peaceful. The little fridge was great and quickly chilled our drinks.

Nothing at all except the weather chilly and raining.

Location Location Location! I stayed at the Airport Ascot between disembarking a cruise and flying home the next day. This location was very close to both. Not walking distance but a fairly short taxi ride. The Motel management looked after my luggage for me even though I was there by about 7.30am in the morning, WAY before check-in time, and my room was ready for me before 10am, but at this time I was happily exploring the area. Lots of interesting shops, and cafes. Also close to the riverwalk, and ferries were available if I wanted to travel into the CBA.

Really there was not much to fault. The carpet was a bit shabby but I was only there one night so it really did not matter.

I needed to do a one night stopover in Brisbane in order to catch an early flight the following morning. The Airport Ascot Motels proximity to Brisbane airport was therefore a big bonus for me. The late check-in service was clearly explained in an email, and was easy to follow upon arrival. The early check-out process was also simple, and automated taxi calling service easy to use. A taxi turned up within a few minutes, and got me to the domestic terminal within about 10 minutes. Admittedly I checked out at 04:30am on a Saturday morning.

There was nothing that I didn't like. The hotel met my specific needs very well.

Good location close to the airport but far enough away to bring the price down. I arrived very late after check in was closed. The hotel has an outdoor safe they leave your key in with instructions to get access to your room. Very easy. Room had everything you wanted, The bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.

Bed sheets had some stains on them, and the check outs a bit early at 10 but perhaps this is normal check out times here in Brisbane.

I arrived after 10 pm due to a late flight. Check in was very easy and seamless. The room was very clean and tidy and had everything you need including toiletries and an iron.

The room had a locked dividing door and the tv noise from the neighbouring room came through this more so than a room without it. They had the tv on until nearly midnight then back on at 5am . Not the hotel's fault but extra soundproofing around the dividing door might help.

great location close to airport as we were flying next morning. Also easy walking distance to ferry. Motel is on older side but clean and good value for money.

The shower is tiny. We arrived at 14.00 and would have expected someone at reception. A cleaner pointed us to the lock box where the room tag was located. Access was simple but would have expected someone at reception at that time of day.
