Amazing view and great location! It was a nice and peaceful stay. The place is quite large so the kids had their own wing. Short walk to the Carlo sand blow which was a spectacular sight to see. Comfy couch and beds. Enjoyed the spa bath in the master. Staff was nice and checkin/out was easy.

Didn’t love that the master bath didn’t have a bathroom door. We used mostly the bathroom down the hall due to this. Just minor things such as the batteries probably need attention. We replaced the batteries in the tv remote in the master and the clock in the dining room isn’t working. Just a bit tired looking like someone else said but still very clean and the furniture was nice and updated. The wi-fi didn’t work down in the kids from, too far away I guess and I wish the pool was warmer. The kids still swam though but since there wasn’t a hot tub I was hoping the pool was just a bit warmer. Overall, the pros outweigh the minor cons.

The proportions of the lounge, dining main bedroom and patio was terrific. The view of the ocean was pleasant through the trees. The pool was lovely and all the lounges and bbq area near it. It would be even bwtter to have an air hockey or pool table in that area.

We're away for three weeks and I like to cook. We were lacking some kitchen items like a frypan with a lid, vegie peeler, small bowls for dips and a cake tin. We put our clothes in the washing machine but had no pegs to use on the clothes horse so had to use the drier.

This is an incredible location in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. You're literally on the doorstep of the Great Sandy NP, and you have views across the coast to Fraser Island. Make sure you get a room in the main building (with the reception office) so that you back directly onto the bush and not the pool/car park. The apartment was spacious, quiet and full of light, and the wifi was very good.

The apartment itself was fantastic, but our overall experience was let down by a couple of small things. Firstly, we found the staff to be a little disorganised. No one was around to check us in on the day, and finding someone who could do it seemed to cause problems for them. Later on in our stay, one of the staff used a key to enter our apartment while we were having breakfast and seemed shocked to find us there (ie. she didn't realise the apartment was occupied). Finally, there was a loud water pump (?) outside our bedroom, which wouldn't stop until late at night and started up again early in the morning.

Location, cleanliness, how big the apartment was, everything supplied in the apartment, the price, the view, secure parking.

The apartment above our room makes it hard to sleep and relax. One morning from about 6am - 10am it’s like they were running a marathon or deliberately walking on their heels. Even during the night. Not enjoyable for a relaxing get away. I would recommend mentioning to your visitors to be courteous of others in the apartments below.

This is my go to spot when we visit Rainbow Beach and now I have found my favourite unit within the complex. Rainbow Ocean Palms Resort is always well kept, spacious and very comfortable. The view from some of the units is absolutely stunning. Its location is perfect ... far enough away from the maddening crowd but you can still hear the rhythmic sound of the waves breaking on the sea shore. I so wish I could visit a whole heap more.

We were too early for checkin (had just completed the Cooloola Great Walk at 10:30AM) so walked down to town for lunch. It started storming very heavily and we were stranded at Shell. The receptionist that day (30/12/23) gave us a call to check where we were and then drove down to pick us up herself! It was very kind of her Loved everything about the accommodation: view, location (away from town and near sandblow), nice pool, the rooms and kitchen in apartment was great too

Amazing from every aspect, I mixed up our booking dates - wasn’t an issue at all, arrived a day early and straight into the room without a fuss, thank you so much for such a tremendous stay, we saw whales from our balcony all weekend Spa bath was amazing, rooms were tranquil All and all a magnificent stay, would recommend to anyone and everyone

Nothing to not like

Best location to visit Carlo's sanblow, walking distance. Huge apartment fully furnished and equipped with all possible appliances. We appreciated the ceiling ventilators that made possible to live without airco.

In other properties of the same price range, we normally find a small welcome package. It was not there.

Quiet location right beside the National park so great for hiking and walking to the sand blow. Nice pool and botanical outlook. Very large apartments with large balcony’s. Free undercover parking. Very comfortable beds.

Bathroom was very outdated and yellowed. Some down lights and blinds were broken/damaged. Given the price and that the apartments have full kitchens, oil and condiments should be supplied regardless. There is a restaurant attached that appears shut down, given the location slightly away from town it would be great for apartment guests to have the option of dining here. It would also add to the atmosphere.

Great property to stay with family and friends, very quiet and spacious. The place is very clean and the Carlo sand blow is right next door. I would highly recommend. Kids loved the pool and view.
