There was no breakfast in our accom package - we brought our own breakfast, but forgot to pack our plunger jug. The owner lent us a coffee plunger so we could make our early morning coffee. Very kind of him. .

We have no complaints - our room was fresh and clean, with a very comfy bed.

First off the place looked small and dated. But the staff advice was superb and helped out with local knowledge from the word go.. The bike track nearby that connected the Barossa Valley was one of the best for our e bikes.. The place grew on us and we enjoyed our two night stay. Could not fault the cleanliness or the honesty of the place. All we could say is that is a bit dated but that is not an issue when it is welcoming. Cooking out on the front porch or playing scrabble out there brought a smile to our faces. We acknowledge we did well to stay where we did at Angaston Vineyards Motel.

Spacious bathroom with hot shower., Good heating system,, large fridge, nice selection of complimentary items. Comfy cosy bed. The staff were friendly and it was easy to check in and out. There was a nice pool and BBQ with kitchenette next to it.

A huntsman needed a bit of catching but there was insect spray privided In the unit. It was our own fault we didn't want to kill it. We walked back from the town centre which would have been a lovely, easy walk if there was a footpath. Apart from these picky comments the motel was great value for money and I'd definitely come back again.

The location of the motel is central to the main towns and attractions so that’s fabulous. The staff were friendly, welcoming, interested in providing the best service , visible in a good way and accommodating. The pool and its facilities were close, clean and had both shade and the option of under cover cooking . There were plenty of bins for rubbish and recycling available. It was great to have under cover parking too.

The bathroom area was generous so a sink in there would have been better than using the kitchen sink for everything. Availability of hot water of an evening was variable . It might be worth replacing tap washers in the shower area as the taps were dripping. It was a bit awkward getting to the power board to try and get the lamps working ; but not a big deal.

It was clean and comfortable and nice to have access to a bbq.

The room was tight for space. There is only one chair at the desk/table, although there was a table and two chairs outside the room, but it was a bit too cold out there. The kettle and microwave had to be on top of the microwave to reach the power point. But the place did well with the older style rooms to provide the kitchen facilities.

Cleanliness of the room Spotless, room well ventilated and Pleasant Smell. all very well organized. Clean and still warm towels, new and comfortable pillows. for sure this will be my first choice when I return to Barossa Valley and I will recommend it to my friends.

The Air cond is a little noisy, I always scared me when it was in the mode"Sleep" and called, so I could not sleep with it on. The bathroom floor should have a non-slip tape, as it is dangerous someone fall into the bathroom because of the floor that is very smooth and there is a small step of the shower. It would be nice if the TV was Smart, but these are small problems that did not interfere with my comfort.

Excellent, very clean space with a comfy bed. Bathroom & kitchenette fixings are dated, but for a motel of its era it is immaculately clean and everything was in excellent condition. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Negatives? Possibly just the storage space for toiletries in the bathroom. A larger shelf would have been fantastic, and not having a washroom basin was unusual. That said, the kitchenette sink was on the other side of the door.

We were greeted warmly and the the room was clean and comfortable and generally quiet. . The room had a kitchenette - microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery. The motel only provides a weekly service and I have no problems with this. If you want clean towels each morning you pop them in a provided tub and leave it outside your room and staff will replace with clean ones. You can also leave the bin outside and it will be emptied for you. We thought this was a terrific option.

We were travelling around and were pleased to find to find the motel had laundry facilities. Having done laundry in many places I did find the cost a little more expensive here but we were grateful that they were available.

Elizabeth (I called her Liz) was very friendly and went out of her way to help us. Gave us a late check out on our two days there at no extra charge. She suggested places to visit for wine tasting. Our favourite was Hentley’s Farm in Seppeltsfield. A quick visit to Maggie Beers farm is also a must and a lovely Mug of Hot Chocolate (Dark) at the Chocolate Factory was also much appreciated on a cold, wet day when we visited.

Was basic motel in the process of being renovated the owners doing a great job

Still needs more to tidy up around the poolside sign says closed during winter suggest spend more time presenting this area staff very attentive we stayed 3 nights and did the wineries from there up to Clare valley
