It was just great. Super located, in front of Kingscote natural pool, close to restaurants and still quite place. Very spacious and confortable suite, like a separate appartment. Very nice staff and very flexible with checkout time. Overall a great experience, i would repeat!

Small fridge with strange freezer (no door in it). But they were kden to help out and offered to store freezer stuff somewhere else. Bit windy on one room due to corner room and bjg windows. Very hot in the other room due to aun all morning-day long.

The room looked out onto the water. The tidal pool was right across from the motel. The decor was modern and very tastefully done. The bed was so comfortable that you didn't want to get up in the morning. The manager was more than thoughtful and let me park my motorcycle on the pathway infront of my room instead of the dodgie parking lot (uneven gravel)

The only 2 negatives were the blinds that didn't quite cover the window and anyone walking by can get a peep in. The second not the property's fault but late arriving guests dragging their suitcases up the metal ramp.

We had a garden-view room with two double beds and a nice bathroom. I liked the aesthetics of the room. In the room, there was also a fridge and a kitchen sink but no microwave - which would have been useful since many places in Kangaroo Island close early for dinner. Near the motel, there are a few cafes and restaurants and a nice seafront walk. We arrived late so we had to arrange for a late check-in so our keys were left in a lockbox with instructions sent in an email.

Overall, we had a great stay but the bed wasn't the most comfortable to sleep on.

Great location, walkable to town as well as hiking paths. We had an ocean room so the view was very nice. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was well equipped, however there was no ice cube trays in the frig. Staff was very friendly. The Nespresso coffee machine was also a nice touch.

The cost of doing laundry was rater expensive.

The location was excellent: facing the water and only 5 minute walk to town. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond regarding the environment: e. g. not just an in-room recycling bin, but also compost (which we did not find elsewhere in Australia), organic teas, etc. It is an old-style motel, down to the cinderblock walls, but our room was completely remodeled with a contemporary kitchen and bathroom, electric heat pumps, refinished hardwood floors, etc. The bed was very comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom unit with a great ocean view, which was quite large, with plenty of room for suitcases and shelving. We were quite happy with the accommodations and would recommend it to any friends planning to visit the island.

Well located, close to the main.street, with cafés, restaurants and the tidal pool across the road. Very clean, with good heating/aircon and a coffee machine in the room. Nice garden to.eat or have your morning coffee.

The lights on the baranda/garden.are on during the whole night, so the room gets never dark, which can.be a bit annoying for some pitch dark sleepers. There are no restaurant/kitchen options within the motel.

We loved the "Frankie-Magazine-style" retro décor and how spotless the rooms were. We felt relaxed as soon as we stepped inside! The colours and details of the walls, furniture, and artwork are so perfect for a seaside getaway that has been modernised and refreshed, but maintains the style of the era in which the motel was built. It was clearly renovated with thought and love, and artistic taste! The staff were all exceptional too, with big smiles and a warm and helpful manner always, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were made-up for us daily with fresh towels and neat bedding, which was lovely to come back to each afternoon.

The only negative thing that was noticeable was the noise from neighbours. We could hear snoring from the strangers' bed next door, as their bed was sharing a wall with ours (we were thankful they weren't feeling romantic), and loud celebrating from other rooms late into the night. I'm not sure how this could be remedied without insulation though! Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend Seaview Motel to friends and family... especially if we booked out the entire place so that we could tell everyone to "pipe down" after 11pm hehe! At least it was all joyous noise!

Close to central Kingscote with beachfront, tidal pool, restaurants and cafes, and supermarket nearby. Comfortable room, recently refurbished. Kitchenette was great, everything for morning breakfasts including crockery and cutlery.

Only thing we thought it needed was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. There was a vent in ceiling but wasn’t connected and the window was too high up to open. Airflow into the room was also limited as only a low front window opened. However there was a ceiling fan and aircon unit.

Excellent cleanliness, refurbished room and bathroom, well insulated and AC warmed room up well in winter. Check in and check out was quick and straightforward. Located in Kingscote near shops, excellent restaurants and cafes, opposite a police station and literally 30 seconds from a beautiful coastline. Very good value for money.

The room is spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we need. However, it's worth noting that there is no toaster, toothpaste, or toothbrush provided, which is ok for us. The location is fantastic, close to the tidal swimming pool, cafes, and jetty. The staff are nice and polite. The only complaint I have is that the kettle wasn't quite clean enough for my liking.
