Fantastic location - walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Thoughtful provision of continental breakfast supplies. Plenty of room to relax and central reverse cycle AC. Undercover parking just outside the door. The washing machine and dishwasher were both welcome additions to the room. We didn’t end up using the spa bath.

The plug in air freshener was a bit overwhelming, but fine once it was switched off. Pillows were a little flat for my comfort. It may have been our hire car but the driveway and parking was quite steep and needed to be taken on an angle to avoid scraping the car.

We had a great stay! The place was very neat, tidy, spacious, and clean. There was fresh fruit in the fruit bowl and freshly baked bread in the bread bin - it was lovely! There were a couple of extras in the bathroom too such as a specific makeup removal towel separate to the hand or face towels, bright lights on top of the mirror (great for doing makeup), and a spacious towel rack/seat next to the shower. A lot of thought went into the place. The hosts welcomed us and were friendly. There are several cafes within walking distance too, with delicious coffee and croissants. I would absolutely stay again 🙂

Large spacious room with comfortable bed and fixtures. Good spacious bathroom. Pleasant breakfast with great fresh baked bread delivered just after check in. Great location in centre of town just a short walk from pub with good food. Private off street parking. Ideal for touring McLaren Vale.

Large room could easily have accommodated a king sized bed without negative side effects. Not accomodation’s fault but we had a lot of noise from six possums on the roof and in the trees just in front of the room between 10pm and midnight

Shane & Louise were excellent hosts..nothing was too much trouble. The continental breakfast was fabulous...simple, but just what we required. Cereal options and fresh milk in the fridge. Shane's fresh bread was delicious and the fresh fruit was a nice touch. Willunga is a beautiful little town and is a great central location from which to explore the McLaren Vale region. Walking distance to several dinner options (Moongarden Pizza was very groovy) and the Willunga Markets on Saturday morning at the local high school are well worth a visit if you appreciate good coffee and fresh food/produce.

The room was a little dated...carpets could use replacing, etc but this is only superficial. The room overall was comfortable and functional.

The attention to detail is what blew me away the most. The kitchen was stocked with an abundance of jams, tea, coffee pods, fruit, milk, fresh bread and juice. The kitchen was also stocked with utensils and dishwashing gear, and the bathroom had plenty of complimentary toiletries and fresh towels. I was really pleased with how spacious the room was, that there was a safe space to park a car, and how central to Willunga the location was. Great value for money, I would definitely recommend booking a stay here.

I think the bathroom window was locked to be slightly open for ventilation, but as a female guest I like to be extra cautious with safety. I was able to cover the gap with a towel but an option to close that would have been good. Everything else was great.

Very clean room with soft carpet and comfortable bed. Free car parking on-site. There was outside seating front and back. Easy check in - the hosts contacted us 30 minutes before earliest check in to provide instructions. Some nice fruit, cob bread and breakfast options. Great location in central Willunga.

The unit is semi- detached and we could hear the guests next door. No recycling options available for rubbish - so we took it home with us.

The cottage is a dream. The room is extremely spacious, there is a lovely garden in the back. The attention to details is astonishing. The breakfast was breathtaking with fresh orange juice, fresh bread, cereals, spreads and excellent coffee. We had the best time at the cottage. We've been travelling all through Australia for 8 months now but this is by far the best and price worthiest place we've been to.

It was great to turn up to a room that smelt and looked clean with a really good shower. Really nice surroundings and convenient so didn't need to drive too much.

Not really about not liking. Just different. The TV is set up to watch from bed and would have been good if lounge was in a different position to be able to watch TV from but we want to but thank the owners for a really nice stay.

Lovely. All just lovely. A fresh loaf of house baked bread greeted us in the room, which we enjoyed with our just bought cheeses and then had toasted for breakfast next morning. Fresh fruit, local milk and a good selection of condiments plus tea and coffee made for a nice start to our day. The location is great and also really peaceful. Bonus was our hosts generously offered to give us a ride to our event that evening which was just beyond kind and so appreciated.

Well…the fact that we only had a short stay. Next time we’ll have a longer break, definitely enjoy the Saturday Markets and wander the Main Street a bit more to explore the eclectic selection of retailers.

The provisions were excellent. The bread was wonderful. Willunga itself is a hidden gem, away from the hustle and bustle of McLaren Vale but close enough you're right there. The cottage has everything you need for a short stay. We were fortunate to be there for the Farmers Market which made our day/stay!

There is nothing really. The shower leaks a tad into the bath mat...? A flyscreen front door so you can invite more fresh air in would be nice. We loved our stay either way and will be back in a jiffy next time we are in McLaren Vale.
