The size and facilities inside, very quiet, felt homely yet spacious. Loved the privacy screen blind. Parking so easy. No lugging luggage upstairs - thank you!! Loved the roomy kitchen and large fridge. Decor nice and neutral. Directly across from the ocean and walking path loved this too. Loved having onsite restaurant sadly didnt get to use. Loved the artwork above the bed!

Only thing that really bugged me was the heater it rattles/vibrates quite loudly i had to turn it off and not use it. Didnt matter what setting it was on for fan etc. And the bathroom hand basin plug doesnt fit. That statue on top deck at entrance - freaked me out i thought it was real in the dark! 🤣

Fantastic location, spacious room and excellent customer service - we were really happy to stay a week! The extra attention to detail with styling and some handy inclusions such as beach towels and all you could need in the kitchenette made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Would absolutely return, and definitely recommend. While upstairs apartments do generally have a nicer view, there are some shared seats at either end of the balcony if you really want to go up there, and you are just metres away from walking to a clear sunset view over the road! We liked the convenience of being downstairs and having our own apartment seats directly outside our accommodation.

The shower / toilet and bathroom layout in our room could ideally do with a slight update as it was on the smaller side and hard to keep everything dry at times! However, it was still clean and comfortable, and plenty of linen was provided.

The room was nice. It had a good kitchenette for cooking. The bathroom was adequate. The view was great. The restaurant had nice meals. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I was able to get a takeaway meal for dinner to eat in my room, and it was delicious. Breakfast was also delicious. I enjoyed my stay and I was pleasantly surprised at this little gem.

It was a bit noisy in the evening. The music in the restaurant sounded quite loud (maybe because my room was close to it). Traffic was noisy at times considering the location on an esplanade (local hoons on a Saturday night maybe) but they are just picky things! Not a make or break.

Very nice large room. Plenty of space with a good view from front of room. Comfortable beds (I like a softer bed) New fridge, new stove, good crockery, cutlery etc. Coffee machine worked well. Large bathroom with good shower etc. Christine and Jaquie were excellent. Very friendly and most obliging. Nothing was a problem.

The TV let the room down. Too small and located too far away from beds. Very tinny sound. A bigger TV on the wall would have made it 100%! Otherwise all good.

- Owner is wonderful and accommodating. - The location is perfect with onsite parking for residents and plenty of street parking for visitors. - The vibe is great, lots of healthy plants and beautiful artwork. - Very close to shops and local restaurants. - They dont have room service/cleaning daily and you can just ask for more towels/amenities if you need. Eco friendly. - The layout of the room is spatious, lots of light and fresh air. Although the beds and kitchen are technically in the same room, it doesnt feel like it by the way they've designed it.

Mentioned to the staff (who took on the feedback happily), the frypans are warped which made it difficult to cook due to the stove top being flat/electronic. Theres also minimal benchspace in the kitchen so its not ideal for cooking lots, and we also suggested a powerboard as the only 2 power points are difficult to reach behind the microwave. Also there was only 1 small square portion of a chux cloth. We didnt ask for another but it would have been nice to have at least 1 large cloth.

Location is great. We had an ocean view room which was lovely for watching the sunset. Just across from the property is a wide pathway which allows you to have a pleasant walk up and down the coastline. Cafes and other eateries are only a few minutes drive from the property, although the property does have a restaurant to cater for breakfast and lunch if you wish.

The room was open plan, so the air conditioning struggled to warm the entire space.

The outlook of the property is stunning and it's perfectly situated for those that love a good walk along some windswept coastline. The room was extremely generously proportioned and equipped with everything I needed. All the staff I interacted with lovely and super helpful.

The restaurant was closed during my stay, and there aren't a lot of other options in the immediate area, so it was a bit of a hike/drive for the morning coffee and evening meal. The furnishings were also a little dated, though immaculately well maintained and presented.

Bed was comfortable, it was clean. The view of the ocean was nice

The common walk way outside the window, which meant no privacy if you wanted to appreciate the view. The balcony was a common way. Not very generous with supplies - only 2 coffee pods for 2 people for 3 nights. Shower floor quite slippery. Air conditioner positioned in the semi enclosed kitchen area, so effective in the kitchen, but not so elsewhere!

I couldn't fault my stay, I went for a business trip and stayed 7 nights. everything from the small touches like coffee pods to the option of heating my bed, the quiet at night, the Breese through the windows, the. Showers are lovely, the options of Netflix plus way more. the staff especially Jacqui who owns this motel/hotel she's done a great job. Everything I needed to cook for myself or order in. Cannot fault the surroundings, sunsets are superb, such amazing walks, beautiful beaches and views, I had a lovely time. I'll be back

No everything I needed was delivered

The motel is situated in a pleasant and peaceful location on the esplanade. It is within easy walking distance of views of the mouth of the Onkaparinga River. However, transport is needed to access eateries in the town centre and surroundings. We were greeted cheerfully upon arrival for our one-night stay and we were very appreciative of the thoughtfulness of the receptionist. While the bathroom is dated, the studio suite was very clean, functional and comfortable. There is easy parking onsite.
