Lovely helpful staff, lovely room recently renovated apart from bathroom but there is a lot to say about an old fashion shower that gives you a really great shower with good water pressure. This is fabulously located to restaurants, beach and the tram that takes you into town. The plus for us was also the parking on site, open air so with a vehicle that needs over 2 m clearance it was a great bonus.

Very clean and comfortable. Free parking outside our door. Situated in the most convenient location in the heart of Glenelg. The marina is across the road and walking distance to all the restaurants and cafes Glenelg has to offer. We really loved the clever breakfast boxes with cereal, milk, juice and muesli bar. One box per person per day.

Our room ( 5 ) had a renovated bathroom. The glass shower door wasn't straight and scraped against the tiles and floor. My husband had some Alan keys in his toolbox and tightened the hinge and fixed the problem. I'm sure management would have arranged for it to be fixed if we told them. *A tea towel would be great for drying tea cups. *Some coat hangers in the closet would be nice too.

I liked the space of the room, the staff at the reception was friendly and professional. Its a great location where you can walk to the nearest Woolworths or food restaurants and the beach. I really liked how on the door is a magnet to put on the outside of the door if you need your room to be made up or if you want privacy. I found the magnet more efficient than hanging it from the door handle and it is clear to read. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy and there was hand mist sanitizer just next to the elevator. The shower was decent size with shampoo and conditioner there to use and good water pressure.

How loud it is outside at night with people walking around or the traffic rushing around.

The property is in a wonderful location - an easy 5 minute walk from all the activities, hotels, cafes, restaurants, and the beach. The fixtures and fittings are a little tired - but it was great value for money, very comfortable and clean. Bed linens were spotless, and the bed was really comfortable. I was expecting quite a bit of noise as every room seemed occupied, but, it was exceptionally quiet all night. The receptionist was really welcoming, and the check-in process very smooth. Excellent facility for a 1-2 night stay if looking to eat out and enjoy the food scene in Glenelg. We would definitely stay again.

Everything. Great location and close to all facilities including public transport even though I didn't need it. The room I had has been renovated and the renovations were of a high class. No scrimping on attention to detail . Putting money back into the hotel and therefore consumers. I enjoyed the idea of a morning starter kit in the room even though the diet stopped me. It was the first time I'd seen this initiative and it was ideal for an early riser until other places opened for breakfast. Air conditioning was working well and the real treat was that the hot water was really hot. It's a real luxury and maybe you have to be careful with children but instant and plenty of it. Everything was spotlessly clean and felt safe as they have 24 hours contactability. Rooms fitted with keyless 6 digit access pads. Stop searched for my key every time I went out but that's a long time habit. I recommended to my family as some live a little way out of town and so stay the night as certainly a good value budget hotel that was very comfortable. I would certainly make it my first choice in Glenelg as good price comparatively in busy area.

Too short a stay but that's not Econo's fault.

Really enjoyed the great location and value, large size room (King) with a view to the park near marina. Close to beach and excellent choice of restaurants. Free and spacious parking was most welcome.

We felt uneasy with the check-in system, responding to a link in a text (with credit card and ID details) in order to have room access. Whilst it did prove safe, we felt it necessary to make a phone-call to verify that the text was not the work of a hack/scam. Reduced availability of a Reception to lower costs no doubt contributes to the good value in this nice motel, but perhaps a defined time for arrival and personal contact would be a good option.

Location Great! The room was nice!

But the shower 100% needs a renovation! The shower head was old and once you turn on the water it goes literally everywhere instead of down to you. Washing my long hair was a nightmare honestly. Second thing was the shower curtain which didn’t help at all, while showering you stand in a bathtub and the curtain it’s sticking to your body which was disgusting! So I had to put the curtain outside the tub so it doesn’t touch me, but then because of the shower head the water was going everywhere!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 37 days. This hotel offers an Excellent location and value. The management is exceptionally attentive to all of our requests and very quick to respond. All of the staff are kind, and very accommodating. I was impressed with the easy self check- in system and the room service. Our king bed super comfortable! We love it!

There is nothing I don’t like.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, table and chairs and a good sized TV. It was great to have a bath in the bathroom and not just a shower. Parking was very close to the room and I felt safe. The location was ideally situated very near restaurants/cafes/shop and the beach.

There was some outside noise noticeable in the room, cars parking, aircraft flying over, but this wouldn't stop me staying here again. For the location, the noise was at a minimum.
