Excellent location. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants, hotels etc and the beach. The staff were friendly and efficient. The Ocean View Family (Interconnecting) room was perfect for our family needs. The ocean views were great. Brand new hotel. Large rooms - well appointed and spotlessly clean. The complimentary mini bar was a lovely bonus consisting of a bottle of wine, chips and chocolate. I had wanted to stay here because of the reviews left by other people and I wasnt disappoined. I was a perfect stay and I would recommend The George to everyone. I will definitely be back!!!

The George is very new and stylish. The rooms are a generous size, they’re super clean with comfy beds and fluffy pillows. I loved that the shampoo and body wash is a decent size bottle in a dispenser on the wall. No teeny tiny bottles! It’s in a great location, close to the beach and among lots of dining options. Will only stay here when I visit again.

The only downfall for me was the noise from the pub across the road on my first stay on the Friday and Saturday nights. I asked for the other side of the hotel on my next stay and had way less street noise. Each to their own but I’m a light sleeper.

I had a lovely stay at this new hotel. The location is brilliant – just a short walk to Glenelg Beach and close to all the shops and cafés, which made everything super convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the staff were absolutely fantastic – genuinely warm and helpful throughout my stay. You can really tell they care about making guests feel welcome. I’d definitely stay here again and happily recommend it to others looking for a pleasant and relaxing spot near the beach.

The new darling of Glenelg accommodation turned out to be a real treat. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a pleasure. The layout of the room was fantastic, and the view, well, that was spectacular, as was the central location to shops and transport.We will definitely be back again.

Great location

Open bathroom. Be ok if just a couple, but we had our 17 year old son with us and it was just uncomfortable. Sitting at the table and looking into the bathroom/toilet area glass doors. No where to privately get undressed before you shower or after.

Location...view . Modern ..trendy ..lovely room ..balcony ..air con and heating are 10 outa ten

No bathrobes...telly not facing bed ..hated getting up outa bed to sit watch morning news on a sofa when I should be in bed with coffee.. also double glazing does not keep out any noise whatsoever ...

I love The George. The location is perfect and it’s always clean with a comfy bed and lovely bathroom with a gorgeously hot shower. Walking location to restaurants and the beach.

Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Modern decor. I cannot wait to try the restaurant when it is open! I actually stayed for 2 nights & definitely will stay in the same room again!

There was no "small/soft" light in the bathroom area.

Location, balcony , cleanliness, easy access to car park.

No phone in room to call reception for any issues. Remote to TV wouldn’t function, connecting our own devices was the only option to watch streaming services and it proved to be unsuccessful, not sure it it was due to remote?

Brand new, fantastic location and beautifully designed room. The view was amazing.
