Everything - proprietor communication excellent. Delightfully appointed accommodation, facilities well chosen. Cannot fault comfort we experienced during our stay.

Minor point re guest safety - shower over bath means that individual must climb into bath - an older person or a person with mobility issues may slip, either on climbing into bath or during shower. May I suggest that, to minimise the risk of the latter occurring, a non-slip shower mat be made available for guest use. Not sure how to combat possible difficulty in former situation.

We stayed in 'The Studio' and the overwhelming impression is of comfort, generosity and spaciousness. The thoughtfully chosen and presented provisions for breakfast were delicious, fresh and sufficient for us to have a light supper in front of the open fire after our sumptuous lunches whilst out exploring the wine and culinary delights of the McLaren Vale area. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was immaculately clean. We will definitely return.

The little touches were fantastic. Having a printed guide for holiday opening times of restaurants and wineries nearby was great. Super helpful in planning our stay. The breakfast was lovely, awesome variety of things to choose from. Good communication from the hosts, clear instructions on how to check in and out. The spa bath was amazing. And it was great having a cosy lounge area separate from the bedroom. The proximity to the main street was easy walking distance. It was very clean and well maintained, we were very comfortable there during our stay. We loved the voucher for a tasting at a local Winery. The whole experience was excellent!

Provisions were very generous for breakfast. Apartment was spacious and well furnished. Nice touches everywhere such as the bowl of chocolates. A lovely place to stay.

The bed although very comfortable had soft edges and my husband fell out in the night and caught the side of his eye on the bedside cabinet. Parking was a problem on the side road particularly during school drop off and pick up. A bit far to walk to the main shops and restaurants.

We loved all the little details, choccies next to the bed, beautifully presented fireplace, super clean, wonderfully stocked fridge, comfy sheets and quilt cover.

The only thing was the bed was quite plush. We both have sore backs and sleep on a firm mattress at home. However not everyone likes a firm mattress so I imagine this mattress is actually very lovely for people without sore backs.

Would have liked better view from the room. Being upstairs needed to climb steep stairs few times. The staircase is too close to the door which can be a hazard on a wet day/night.

Very clean, very comfortable, lovely big spa, lots of breakfast provisions, little touches such as chocolates, candles, full fridge of juices and waters, coffee machine. Comfortable bed, lovely linens and towels.

Slightly dated decor, but was in keeping with the era of the property. That was not an issue for us - property was very comfortable and clean.

not a real B&B since you had to cook your own breakfast and then clean up afterwards. The cooking was done on a gasWebber grill outside and did not light after a rainfall. there was a hot plate indoors but no frying pan. never met the host they just had a lockbox so not sure they where to interested in meeting guests.

the accommodation was perfectly placed on the McLaren Vale map and provided us an amazing place to rest our heads, from the complimentary breakfast to the stunning fireplace and 4 poster bed, this place is superb. we looked visiting chapel hill and Gemtree wines along with many other stops. easily the best value for money accommodation. we will definitely return!

Really not much to complain about! We loved the room, the provisions and the location.

One small suggestion would be a small side table on the other side of the lounge. Also a couple of tumbler glasses for a whiskey etc. Oh and a streaming service like Netflix would be perfect. That's all we could think of!
