Great location, simple no frills accomodation. Soft comfortable mattress, sofa couch was great. Hot shower with good water pressure. Basics microwave, toaster kettle and fridge. Older facilities but I loved the charm, comfort and simplicity of the accommodation and the price matched. Staff accomodating and helpful. We stayed an extra night and I would stay again.

The porch light is on a timer and can’t be controlled and was no blind to block the light. I couldn’t sleep until 2 am when they turned it off. Didn’t bother husband. Please install a blind on the porch window

Serviceable room with plenty of space and good light for reading by. I loved the fruit trees outside with their visiting flocks of king parrots. I chose to stay here for the location, it is a short and beautiful drive from the gorgeous Lake Eildon. In fact all the routes in the vicinity of the Rubicon Motel are gorgeous, making for a fabulous break from the city. The motel rooms and carpark have lots of space for bulk sports-related gear and vehicles, and the town is supplied with fuel, coffee and eating options.

We were three adults sharing family room to visit our uncle and brother in palliative care. It was perfect for us. We each had a room. Like a small house. Comfortable and modern. Electric blankets were great. Had dinner at the bistro. Played the pokies briefly. It gave us something positive to enjoy amidst the sadness we were experiencing about to lose our family member.

We always prefer to stay at the Rubicon as the rooms are comfortable and having the restaurant there where you can get an excellent meal it is always our first choice to stay as we visit Eildon a number of times throughout the year

I don’t think there is anything wrong with the accommodation we find it very comfortable and it has all we need

this is a great venue for us to use when heading that way to go fishing. The three bedroom family unit is comfortable and can be configured with double orcsinhke beds . there were four of us and it was comfortable. The bar and bistro are also quite accomodating and food quite good. we have stayed there previously and found it to be a good spot because of the services available .

We visit here every year for our mini holiday. Love this little haven away from the rat race. Everything is here so you don’t need to leave your accommodation. Staff, accommodation, food etc can not fault anything. Thank you for having us & see you next year. 😃

Location, size of room, facilities. Microwave, excellent air-conditioner, good shower. Bins emptied and new shampoo on second day.

No main light in the bedroom. Had to use bedside lamps. Need second lamp next to queen bed. Needed plates. Bowl, cutlery supplied but no plates except for saucer which is a bit small.

Super comfy old-school motel room. The decor is not new but everything was clean and convenient, there was nothing missing. Bed was comfy, water was hot, check in and check out were quick and easy. Staff were lovely. The connected pub and bistro did a great pub meal.

Very comfortable room, had dinner at the bistro went with the pizza menu on the second night. It's close to rubicon river and walk trails, and all main attractions. Hope to be back soon.
