The location of the Motel was OK-ish in that there was no traffic noise. We chose to walk into the town each morning which was a 20 minute walk to the centre - but we had fine weather so this was not an issue. We could have driven but the township of Hamilton has Parking Meters which we try to avoid - strangely, the meters don't have any details about cost and charges? . The room facilities were basic but virtually all we needed - TV, fridge, microwave and air conditioner.

There was nothing that we absolutely didn't like - the room was up to our expectations. Of minor annoyance was the noise of the fridge clicking on and off during the night. And the matress was "very slightly" uncomfortable. Having said this, the fridge and mattress issues are common to every small motel room we have ever stayed in. What the room didn't have was USB sockets (for charging phones and cameras). And we didn't find any WiFi instructions so we assumed there was none?

Got a free room upgrade upon arrival - super nice and friendly host! Room was clean and comfortable. Great shower with amenities and everything we needed. Would stay here again!

The only thing we didn't like was that we found ants crawling behind the extra bed in the room... We didn't notice until 5 minutes before we checked out and forgot to mention this to the owner. Surely nothing that can't be fixed! Everything else was as expected - clean and comfortable!

Comfortable, clean accommodation a little out from the main town. Friendly staff at reception. Room was smaller than expected, but quite adequate for an overnight stay. Bathroom has been updated, although the shower was over the bath, a non slip mat and grab bar have been provided which was helpful. A microwave was a handy addition to the kitchen area. Close parking provided.

Friendly, comfortable and it's right across the road from the lake so the kids could go for their walks / runs. Close to the town centre and there is a great fish and chips shop right across the road!

There really isn't anything we didn't like, but if I had to put something down it would other guests and their parking skills.

Great location, straight across from the lake. Beautifully updated rooms with lovely furnishings and super clean. Onsite parking… and whoever had the genius idea to provide a dark coloured face washer for make-up removal, well done! (I always hate leaving make up marks on white towels).

Brilliant email communication before and the day then great text communication confirming our later than planned arrival, really helpful with local knowledge, supermarket location and even what road not to travel on on our onward journey. Super clean, very comfortable ideal for our 1 night stay

There was not a breakfast option but we were told of options a short drive away. The room was spacious and the bedding clean and comfortable.

The bathroom needs an update but functioned ok. It is time to provide at least an external power point for an electric car.

They’ve got everything you need for the cooking. Literally everything! And not to mention other thoughtful facilities they provide. Some luxury 5 stars hotel could not even do their job. Room is nice and tidy. Spending a fun cozy and pleasant night there was totally worth it. Thank you and appreciate their kind and friendly team too xoxo

Nothing at all

The property was well appointed and modern. The fittings and linen were top notch. The staff were friendly and communicative. Plenty of amenities onsite such as microwaves, bbq, picnic tables. Loved my stay and will definitely rebook when I’m back this way!

The shower was fabulous. The bed was comfy. The staff were very helpful. They put us onto the Thai takeaway place for dinner. It was lovely.

Very fussy tea drinker here, and the teabags they had were the cheap variety. Everything else was fabulous, including a makeup removing facewasher, plenty of shampoo and conditioner.
