We had a lovely stay at Port o Call. Whilst it is called a motel, Port o Call massively exceeds expectations for a motel. We stayed in unit 6 - a family room two story loft. Check in was super easy. We were messaged by Lexy with clear instructions which was very welcomed after a long day driving and looking at the 12 apostles at sunset. The room itself was delightful. Immaculately clean, air con both up and down stairs. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was beautifully styled. There are plenty of little cafe’s and restaurants about a 2min walk around the corner from Port - Real Pizza was lovely! Check out was equally easy. If you are travelling the Great Ocean Road I’d highly highly recommend Port o Call. Port Campbell is really really delightful little town about 10mins from 12 apostles. If we ever find ourselves there again, we’ll be sure to stay here.

The kitchen/dining/living room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The bedrooms upstairs were spacious and super comfy. The heater worked well and we were warm with the bed coverings even without the heating. The accommodation is right in the center of the town which is great for getting around without a car.

Our room faced a small lawn area which was lovely, however, this also faced the main roundabout in town. The weather during our stay was wet, cold and windy so did not get to enjoy the outdoor lawn area and still had to have all the blinds drawn during the evening as passers by would be able to see directly into the living area.

Well organized facility, good amenities, comfortable room, and excellent staff.

We spent a Saturday night at this facility where there was a restaurant/bar about 200 meters across a main road that had loud music and rowdy crowds until approximately 1 AM in the morning. Maybe it was a weekend thing. If you are looking for a quiet place for a good night rest on a weekend night, this is not your place. Apart from this one minor drawback, this is a comfortable and convenient motel for travelers.

We loved our stay at The Port O Call! There was a lovely aroma as we walked into our room, which was spacious, very tastefully decorated and furnished as well as being spotless. The kitchenette was very well equipped. The bathroom was immaculate with a big walk-in shower and it was well provided with towels, soaps etc. It was more like being in a boutique hotel rather than a motel. The motel was well situated in the middle of town so an easy walk to the cafes, restaurants etc. We would definitely recommend The Port O Call!

There was nothing that could have been better.

The Motel is located on the main street meaning that everything is within walking distance. Over the back of the complex is the Sow & Piglets Bar and Brewery dishing up a few very nice beers. The main street has a variety of restaurant to suit most tastes. The room was quiet, clean and well appointed.

We received a text from the owners regarding the entry into the room - our key was in the door when we arrived. There is nothing to complain about - just an indication of a well-run establishment negating the need for any face-to-face contact. No complaints at all.

Location & amenities were great. Port Campbell is a lovely town & this was a lovely motel. On a two week road trip Port O Call makes the top 3 of all the places we stayed

Improvements that could occur would be including making a drying rack for towels & swimmers available and setting the TV to be able to use Iview / SBS on demand as well as the set top box that is there .. all channels are available but these days we are used to watching things when we want…

Cute decor, all amenities required, super clean sheets and comfortable beds, sitting area outside were all superb, thank you for a wonderful stay Thank you Lexi, loved the food at Port campbell hotel and did see nearly all the places you suggested. Have suggested your place to my friends.

Shower a bit slow, shampoo bottles were hard to press so ended up unscrewing otherwise all good for 1 night stay

The apartment was very tastefully decorated and furnished. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. Great location for getting out and about. Lovely verandah and balcony with nice view. Great parking right beside the apartment.

Sound proofing between apartments poor. Not enough utensils in the kitchen area. We had to eat in the first night, and had to have a microwave meal as no other cooking facility available. No knife to cut the loaf we had bought.

Room was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Central location for sightseeing. Owner was friendly and helpful. Outdoor verandah was a bonus. Decor was lovely, kitchen was good.

Bathroom sliding door did not stay closed which partially exposed you to outside. Bathroom basin tap was missing filter which caused water to always splash everywhere.

Love, love, loved this place! Best value for money! Decor on point! The swinging wicker chair was my favourite. Wait, maybe the rainwater shower was my favourite…I can’t decide! Would definitely stay again, we didn’t want to leave :) rather than eat breakfast at a cafe, we got takeaway so we could be in the room a bit longer and soak it in before checking out!
