Room very spacious = nice hot showers - comfy bed - good to get a newspaper each day = good TV and wi fi breakfast was good - be good to haVE CHEESE and bickies added and some fried rice? We had room service meal each night - very good - food very tasty .As I am on a walking stick and 76 I found it very difficult to get onto the verandah to get to my room BIG STEP UP For safety need to have a ramp for access - luckily I did not fall !!!!! Safety shpuld require this at motel. NOT GOOD

Access to rooms for those with walking problems etc. A ramp is needed Was a very big step up - very difficult Safety inspection required for a ramp to be installed. before someone does have an accident.

Our room was lovely. Very comfortable bed and room overall very pleasant and functional. Lovely bathroom and so very clean. We enjoyed the balcony, very relaxing. Perfect location, right in the middle of town. Supermarket and shopping centre straight across the road, easy walking distance. We had the continental breakfast and it was great. Good choices and the food was all excellent quality. We also ordered several dinners from the restaurant and the meals were exceptional. Top quality restaurant food which I highly recommend. All in all, our stay at Dog Rock Motel was perfect in every possible way. We will be back for sure.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. Perfect in every way.

The location was excellent , the staff great and the breakfast we had was very nice. The outlook from the room was great. Could not really complain.

Really this a I true first world problem however they really need to look at the toaster that is currently in use in the restaurant. Having to put a piece of toast through as a minimum of 3 times to cook it seems a little extreme.

The staff are super friendly and their service is prompt and professional. The continental breakfast was everything you’d expect. The pastries are freshly baked and the wide selection of fruit was fresh. The shower products are lovely.

The outside noise from guests who shuffled chairs above us most of the evening and a constant stream of people walking past our room continuously. The bed is quite small and one extra bath towel would’ve been nice.

In a great location, central to city centre. Ample parking. Friendly helpful staff. Good size room. Clean. Fantastic restaurant. We'll priced. Nostalgic memories- stayed there as a kid with my dad and now I'm 53. 🤣

Dated bathroom. My 17 year old sons bed was quite small. He is 6'4 but did book as 3 adults and a child. You could see the single beds were quite a bit shorter than the double bed.

Very clean, huge rooms, could sleep 4 in 1 double and 2 single rooms. Very quiet apart from adjacent occupants getting up early with noisy vehicles.

Strange slanted mirror in the bathroom which was half height- meaning I had to bend down to see myself in the reflection. It was also disorienting. Didn’t see the purpose of the slats above the mirror! A minor nuisance but otherwise no complaints.

The location of Dog Rock, across from shopping and many cafes is very good. This hotel is a gem and always exceeds expectations. I have stayed for both work and leisure before. The restaraunt is award winning so best to pre-book. There is also a wine lounge with a fire place which is very nice.

The shower head wasnt working that well in our room. Apart from that its an excellent room.

Near the city center at Dog Rock itself. Can drive to attractions easily. Friendly staff. Free carpark. Good air conditioner with heater function.

Narrow spread of continental breakfast. I booked two rooms for 5 adults and 2 kids. One room had two adults. Other room had 3 adults and 2 kids. We were all expected to squeeze in a queen and single bed. My husband and me squeezed in a single rollaway bed that squeaked for 2 nights while another adult slept with my 2 kids in the queen bed. Very cramped and uncomfortable as I had only 42cm width of bed to sleep on. Hotel shld have provided two double (queen) beds instead.

Good sized room with all facilities very good. Very good food in restaurant for dinner. Very good staff

Poor breakfast on booked B&B. Quite feeble continental with little choice. A bit of a cheek to have cooked breakfast offered as added option

Great late check in system. Could tell there is pride and care taken in the running of the Motel. The room was nice and modern, comfortable size and a great layout, well presented and very clean. Loved the dark block out curtains and a good sleep in. Liked that we could close off the bedroom to the sitting room and there was a TV in each room. Nice continental breakfast with the option to upgrade to a buffet cooked breakfast. Will definately be staying again.

One of the downlights had a buzzing noise coming from it. No big deal for us, just left those lights off.
