I recently stayed here for 8 nights with my daughter. We were celebrating her 21st birthday by swimming with Whale Sharks. The resort was perfectly suited to us, quiet, clean and comfortable. The beach was about 10 minutes walk away, and we watched the sun rise there most mornings. The town is about half an hour walk away, which was fine for us but could be a bit far in summer or if you had small children. We didn't swim in the pool as we prefer the sea, but it looked beautiful. We also hired a car for 3 days from the Resort, which was really easy and meant we could explore the region on the days we weren't swimming with Whale Sharks, or diving. We had the best holiday ever, and would definately stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Exmouth!

The rooms were really clean, and very well equipped to make basic meals, hot drinks, etc etc. In room washing machine and dryer was helpful after a few days out exploring the national park. Relaxing by the pool with cocktail service was excellent!!! Dinner at Whalers was great for seafood and vegetarian dishes. Easy transport pick up/ drop off to day tours. Walk to town -25 mins. Walk to sunrise at beach- 10 mins

I wish I knew about the Exmouth Escape on site car hire before arriving. That would have been a great addition to our stay (instead we hired camper van for a few days). In reality a stay at Exmouth escape plus a hire car would have been perfection.

The villa had everything you need including dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer. It had two bedrooms (one with an ensuite) and beds on the upper mezzanine level. Everything worked fine.

The design of the resort is somewhat industrial with accommodation units made of grey steel with lots of glass doors. It's not aesthetically pleasing; however, the villa itself worked very well bar one small issue: no lock on the shared bathroom door. Data limited wifi is, apparently an Australian characteristic? It just annoys customers. Wifi is a business cost: factor it into the room rate and present it as "free" and you'll get better reviews; win-win.

Very nice setup, new rooms with good kitchenette and washing machine, even a BBQ outsite. Great pool and the restaurant on site is very good also.

As with everything in Exmouth $$$ Also, it's really not easy walking distance to town, so you do need a car. I suggest getting it from the airport as the cost for transfers to and from for 2 people covers 2 days of hire. Resort offers car hire which is great but it would be great if the car hire provided a cheap windscreen shade. There is no shade anywhere in the Exmouth area and it would make a big difference to car use.

We love staying at the Exmouth Escape Resort. The facilities and restaurant are fabulous and perfect for us when we stay here with a group each year.

The check in process always seems to be an issue here. This time my booking was under a completely different name that had no reference to anyone in our group. Luckily I had the booking.com app on my phone and the reference number for the booking lined up. They could not however change the booking name so all 6 rooms were not under the right name. I am thinking this is a problem from booking.com not the resort itself.

Great location and self contained with its own restaurant on site which served beautiful food, had options for bbqing if you wanted and just generally a nice place to stay. Accommodation itself was clean with nice cold aircon. Pool was lovely, clean and service from the restaurant was a good addition, although maybe lacking some loungers at busy periods. Staff were great for booking excursions for us which picked us up at the accommodation.

WiFi was included although not much, this ran out pretty quick during our 3 night stay even with little usage. Bought more as signal wasn’t great, which was pretty expensive and it generated a code which I copied once and got access but forgot to save thinking it would just be emailed to me . After an hour it kicked me out of the WiFi and wanted the code re-entered and there was no way to retrieve the code and no staff on site to assist me which was disappointing.

The apartment was comfortable and the pool was really well kept. The 3pm to 6pm poolside drinks and nibbles were great. Having Whaler's restaurant on the same property was a definite plus. Food and service were both excellent. Parking is outside the unit and there is plenty of space. You will need a car to get to the shops etc.

We stayed 5 nights but in a one bedroom apartment. If you want a full size fridge (there was only an underbench one in our room), you need to book a 2 bedroom unit. Also no dishwasher in the one bedroom but is in the 2 bedroom unit. Towels are hard and need to be replaced considering the price you pay per night.

It was a very comfortable unit and reasonably quiet area. Easy well to the town beach and five minute drive to the shops and eateries. Pool area was lovely and pool kept clean and sparkling.

Kitchen bench space was limited and fridge was tiny. Smallest bar fridge I’ve ever seen with separate large freezer making it hard to see into the fridge. There was also another separate standalone freezer which would have been better being a fridge. Don’t stock up on too many cold items.

Two bedroom apartment with own bathrooms. Comfortable living areas. Parking out the front. Close to most things but far enough away. Great restaurant on site which catered for take away and snacks/drinks by the pool. Queen room had a good sized wardrobe. Well equiped laundry if you needed it.

Room was serviced during our 7 night stay - but all they really did was change the towels and make the bed. Under the beds needed a good vacuum/sweep. Shower head in the single bed room ensuite needs replacing. Could have done with an extra power point in the single bed room. Didn't ask for a double adapter or a power board - made do. No wardrobe space in single bed room - used the second single bed to put my case on.

If wanting your own apartment during your stay and want to cook your own meals some nights, put shrimp on the barbie then a good option. Staff really friendly and helpful. Kitchen has everything. Room serviced twice during our 4 day stay. Tours pick you up at entrance. Do need a car in order to get to the supermarket, adventures.

You could probably get better value than with on site restaurant at other eateries in town but meal and service was good.
