Our third time in this amazing hotel, this time we arrived with our 4-year-old daughter. This is our third time at this hotel and all that can be said is that this place is simply amazing. It provides a level of service and a true Austrian countryside experience. With a very nice and helpful family that manages the place thoroughly and professionally. The village of Bad blumau is amazing in its beauty, and the hotel is right in the center of it. The rooms are spacious and clean with a view of the village itself in front of the hotel. The breakfast is simply wonderful with a rich variety and original Austrian flavors. The location is perfect and is an excellent starting point for a trip to Styria. We also received a Genuss card, and with it, we were able to enter a variety of thermal pools for free and rogner bad blumau at a significant discount. It can be said that this is definitely a high-quality rural Austrian experience and an excellent hotel for all lovers of Styria and the countryside.

It’s out of the way and not crowded or full of people all over. It’s a family-owned business type environment although I’m not sure if it is, but I assume so. Folks were very friendly, and spoke English with us, since we don’t speak German. We got some cards to use all around Austria with a lot of free stuff while we stayed on the property. Also got a hefty discount at Rogner Bad Blumau where we celebrated our 20 year anniversary. Also the included great breakfast was very delicious with a good array of options. There is a pool next to the river where you can spend some quiet time reaing a book while you eat a fresh picked apple from their apple trees. Thank You Staff.

I would have liked to have A/C in the room, although it wasn’t uncomfortable, because with the windows open, all the windows had bug screens, which is a huge plus, but I happen to be an extremely sensitive person to smoke and people smoke everywhere in Austria so we had to close the windows due to the smoke coming from the outside. Not the property’s fault, but maybe some sort of solution could be reached of no smoking on the balcony’s maybe?… I don’t know.. or installing some A/C units, but this is only because we stayed in the hottest part of the summer. Otherwise I’m sure it’s good.

Very pleasant small hotel with very friendly staff. They arranged for us a discounted entrance fee to Rogner Bad Blumau, and also advised other trips. The breakfast was very tasty. Sufficient parking for all guests in front and behind the hotel. We had a nice comfortable room on the ground floor, with a brand new modern beautiful bathroom with a shower. The beds are comfortable, the pillows less so. We went to the Rogner Bad Blumau spa on foot, through the whole village, it was a walk of about 20-30 minutes depending on the pace, and we ate in a local restaurant in the spa. There is only one pizzeria in the village right next to the hotel and a grocery store Nah und Frisch (accessible by car) - if you would like something small, the hotel only serves breakfast. If you would like to go to the Heurige (a wine bar, a pub that serves local Austrian hot and cold food), I recommend the very nice Zum Stoabocha, which is not close to this hotel, but you can get there with Genusstaxi for 2.5e per person. We recommend a visit to the Zotter chocolate factory, it was an experience and we took advantage of the Genusskarte discount we received at the hotel.

Tastier presso coffee would have been nice. And I also didn't see plant-based milks on offer. For a hotel that does not have its own restaurant, I would welcome e.g. kettle for making tea in the room.

Absolutely amazing hotel with friendly and helpful owners. Very easy communication prior to our visit. Ideal for a relaxing stay connected with visiting the nearby thermal spas. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, cosy. Very tasty breakfast with local regional products. Will be happy to come back! Highly recommended!

Location is excellent: very pleasant walking distance from Rogner Spa Thermes. Lovely and pictoresque little village. Friendly and efficient hosts, comfortable room, very clean, good breakfast.
