The hotel is about ten minutes walk from the main railway station (less for Bregenz Hafen), the old town on the hill and a few minutes from the new town. I used the hotel as a base to explore the city, visit Liechtenstein, take a boat trip and visit two museums and visit St Martin’s Tower. The hotel is easy to spot and clean on the outside and within. The staff are friendly and give clear instructions upon arrival. The room was clean and I had no external or internal noise. I felt safe within and outside the hotel. The continental breakfast is fine and sufficient, accompanied by a daily newsletter.

The lift is quite small and occasionally I had to use the stairs. You need to take your key with you, as reception is not open in the evening.

Superb location in the heart of Bregenz. Underground parking garage across the street with 24 hr access with max rates being reasonable. Grocery store and central train station across the street. Restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating everywhere. Communication was excellent. Free breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of choices. Staff was super friendly. Comfortable beds.

We booked two rooms, one double room with balcony and one economy single room. Our stay was during unseasonably warm weather averaging 30 degrees. The double room with balcony was delightful...on the top floor and had functioning air conditioning, which was a blessing. The economy single room was on the 2nd floor. The room size was ok for a single occupant for one night (it matched the photos and description), but there was no air conditioning on that floor, so not the most comfortable night of sleep.

I stayed for two nights during the music festival and absolutely loved this hotel. It is a small property, but the interior design is stylish, and the homely atmosphere made it very relaxing. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and genuinely hospitable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and very varied. I believe even with a longer stay, one would never get tired of it. It was my first time visiting Bregenz, and I found the town absolutely charming. I would love to come back and stay here again for the festival next year.

This hotel is located on the edge of the "down town" area of Bregenz. 2 minutes to Lake Constance and 2 mins to Train station Bregenz Hafen 6min to Bregenz Main Train Station. Clost to Cable Car station too. There is a big supermarket right across the road. Park House 20 meters away. The single room is well designed. Place for luggage. Enough power outlet. Very clean. My bed was comfortable. Very friendly hotel personnel. I felt home. Breakfast may not have a lot of choices like in a big hotel but has top quality.

A house on such a location is usually old therefore not well soundproofed. And the wall between rooms is thin. I could hear my neighbors movement. especially when he/she is using water. But a pair of earplugs solved this problem.

Lovely spacious room , loads of easy accesible storage on shelves and plenty of hanging space. Comfortable bed. Buffet Breakfast was excellent easy too find everything small dining room but plenty of space to move around. Great location Bregenz Hafen station 2 minutels walk ,Lake Steamers 3 minutes walk Cable car about 6 minutes The centre of town 3/4 minutes walk, the promende and small beaches about 5/6minutes

Hotel Bodensee is a fantastic hotel - staff are welcoming and helpful, facilities are dated but very clean and rooms are very spacious. I asked for a late checkout on the day and they were very accommodating. Location is very central to Bregenz, right by the Pfänder cable car and just a short walk from the train station.

The dining areas are quite small and there aren’t many tables, so there were a couple of occasions where I went to get breakfast and couldn’t find anywhere to sit, so I went back an hour later.

A big room, lovely terrace, partial view of the lake, terrace furniture. Big bathroom with confortable shower. Air conditioning. All newly renovated, very comfortable. Breakfast was very pleasant too. Very close to the harbour and a lot of good restaurants.

Limited parking, had to park in a public garage (very close). Annoying dog next door barked early morning.

Centrally located across the street from the Bodensee promenade, convenient on a pedestrianised precinct for shops, restaurants and museums. 24 hour reasonable priced car park opposite hotel. Rooms well appointed with everything needed for a stay. friendly attentive reception staff, Petra in particular.

Absolutely nothing

Hotel was good, we had a balcony room. Good position to town centre and other facilities. WC was broken but fixed very quickly.

To enter hotel there is about 8 steps so had to carry luggage up the steps, there was no ramp, not practical for a disabled person (no im not disabled) but are group were older travellers.

Super clean, newly renovated room with great bed, spacious bathroom and all the facilities I could need (coffee/tea, hairdryer, iron & board, TV with streaming, fan, fridge, make up mirror and even a person scale). Fresh breakfast and friendly staff. This hotel was just perfect for my stay.
