I was staying at the JUFA during the recent Bodensee Pokal football tournament. The hotel is in very close proximity to the main stadium and therefore a great option for that event. The rooms are a good size and offer all the comforts one would expect. Breakfast was very generous with a good spread. Staff friendly and helpful. Main attractions (Seetribüne, Lake Front etc) are only a short walk away.

Hotel is in close proximity to a football stadium and train tracks. Depending on the time of year, events and train traffic it can be a bit noisy if the window is open. The hotel is also not very central, but nothing is much more than a 15-20 minute walk away.

It is expensive for what it is, it is more of a hostel - but it seems to depend what building you’re in. Little attention to details in the common areas would be nice such as emptying of the ashtrays, cleaning the tables when people sit down etc… It’s sometimes the little things that will make people come back or stay away The location is good for the train station & the waterfront but the center is abit of a walk (just for your information)

JUFA Bregenz is in a good location, 15 minutes to the station and less to the lakeside. The outdoor lounge of the hotel is a good place to sit, sip your coffee or drink, especially if you travel with your dog. There is immediately some green area around for walks and to the newly opened Strandbad with a restaurant/cafe. We did not take breakfast as we wanted to try different locations in Bregenz, the same applied for the buffet dinner.

We tried the buffet dinner one evening, as we were too tired to go out again. For the price of Euro 28/person the choice was not the most impressive.

The breakfast was super! The best of all I have ever eaten, at least to my taste. The light in the room was also much better than usually in the hotel rooms, there was a central lighting, and local bed lamps were also very comfortable. Everything what we tried functioned perfectly well. We didn't switch on the TV and the AC, cannot say anything. I liked the shampoo/shower gel. And a plesant bonus were the passes for the swimming pool.

I think the room and the buildung itself need cosmetic repairs...

Nothing wrong with this hotel. Easy access from railway station but outside town (10 minute walk to anything). However, would be very handy if visiting the outdoor stage on lake Constance. Room very large but sparsely furnished (good and bad point).

We were located in the annexe which may have been a hospital or similar in past life. Room is very large but sparsely furnished. Hotel is also located in more industrial area of town. Breakfast was too expensive - we did not try it!

Really good sized rooms and very nicely furnished and very comfortable mattresses. Everything was really clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room had an exterior blind which helped keep it private even with the curtains open. Breakfast is also excellent, as was the food at the Bistro.

Would have liked a kettle in the room. The room was also a little too warm and the air con didn't seem to do anything so we had to sleep with the window open all night (which was sometimes noisy due to city centre location). More pillow choices would be good as we only had one very soft pillow each (we prefer firmer, plumper pillows).

The location is really good. The breakfast adds some convenience to the trip.

You only get the room cleaning when you ask for it. This is okay, but we asked for toilet papers and shampoo in the morning for straight two days, they forgot and didn’t do it.

Very affordable. Staff very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, scrambled eggs the best I've had in a while. Rooms are spacious with very high ceilings. Shower can be adjusted very high for tall people which was quiet nice. Casino Bregenz right across the street.

Extra heating in the bathroom is called a towel heater and turns off automatically way too soon. The floor heating does its job but I'd prefer more manual control. Our room listed water as included when booking it, but it cost extra. For the room price okay but misleading.

1. consistent with the weather outside, the room was hot but I had no difficulty sleeping. There was an openable window which allowed some air into the room. Perhaps a fan would have been available if I had thought to ask for it. 2. It was a little difficult to find at first. A JUFA sign on the main abutting street would help. 3. The 4 pm check-in time was enforced rigidly.
