The Hotel located on the outskirts of Lindau in a quiet residential area. The property has grounds surrounding which are available to residents to enjoy. At the end of the garden there is quiet access road to Lake Constance and waterside walks. There is parking at the property with space at both the front and rear of the hotel, enough for all the guests. I received an extremely warm welcome on my arrival and was given lots of information which was useful. They even made a dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant. They provided coffee with small cakes as a welcome gesture. They made me feel my welfare was their concern. I was shown to my room and given help with my luggage. There is no elevator at the hotel, which needs consideration if you have problems with climbing stairs. My room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a small balcony with table and chairs, with views towards lake Constance. The windows have shutters which help to keep the room dark for sleeping and cool in the hot summer months. Breakfast was included with the cost of my room and was excellent…There was plenty of choice. The area surrounding the hotel is beautiful and there are dedicated paths for walking and cycling which will take you alongside the lake and through the orchards and vineyards that are on the slopes surrounding Lake Constance. There is a regular bus service into Lindau and onto the Island. I will definitely visit again when I can and will try stay at this hotel if possible.

The room and shower room was quite small which was suitable for me as a solo traveler. It may not be suitable two people. This did not cause an issue for me during my stay. I only wish I could have stayed longer….

The hotel is situated in a serene and picturesque location. The staff is kind and friendly. Our room was clean and simply delightful. We had a room with a balcony that offered a lovely view of the surrounding greenery. The room was well-equipped with all the essentials, including shower gel, lotion, and soap. We enjoyed a very comfortable night here. The breakfast was delightful, offering a wide variety of options: fish, sausages, vegetables, cereals, yogurts, bread, eggs, fruits, juices, coffee, and tea. The breakfast area itself is charming and has a beautiful atmosphere. After breakfast, we enjoyed a lovely time on the swing in the backyard. There are two nearby places we recommend: Lindenhofbad, where you can swim, and Bad Schachen, where you can take a boat. We rented a catamaran for 20 euros and had an amazing time jumping into the lake from the boat. It was awesome!

It would be nice to have complimentary bottles of water in the room. We arrived late and couldn't purchase water on the island or in the city, and the only option was to buy it at the hotel.

A beautiful location with a lovely garden. You can have an excellent breakfast on the terrace and walk right behind the hotel to the lake, Bodensee. We walked in 30 minutes to the center of Lindau, also great bike path for cyclists. Beautiful old town with lots of shops and restaurants. If you don’t want to walk (or bike) the front desk provides free bus tickets. We even had a small balcony. I would come again.

The only negative is the room size, especially the bathroom is small but it is quite luxurious, very clean and modern.

Wonderful location, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and very clean. Room was nice with a beautiful view of the garden (though a bit small). The hotel is located just a 3 minute walk from the lake. Next to the hotel is a beautiful park. Adjoining is a great meadow / beach with facilities and a restaurant / bar. Great for swimming and watching the sunset over the lake.

For a longer stay a bigger room would be better.

A very friendly, helpful man on reception. Super location - peaceful in beautiful gardens, but very easy to get into Lindau centre by bus (bus stop very near the hotel and buses free of charge for hotel guests). 3 minutes walk from the lake and a beautiful lakeside park. Excellent breakfast. Lounge for guests with a great choice of drinks to help yourself to at any time (pay on checking out). Clean, modern room. It was a really pleasant stay.

We thought the hotel was too expensive, though it seems the going rate for Lindau. Otherwise everything was perfect.

This hotel has very good location, it is just a few mins walk to the amazing lake. The park in between hotel and the lake are so beautiful. I love those huge trees. Hotel breakfast is very good and their service are also excellent. I would strongly recommend this hotel. Look forward to be back again.

A wonderful small hotel; friendly helpful staff, a beautiful garden to relax in and an excellent breakfast. The hotel is in a quiet location very near to the lake for swimming but not too distant from Lindau Island which can be reached by bus (free) or by a very pleasant walk.

This was a simple but lovely hotel. Clean fresh spacious room, lovely grounds and good breakfast. In a quieter part of town it was great for a stop on our cycling trip. Also right across from the lake with a badi and beergarden - a great little oasis. Also the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.

I loved the breakfast area and garden. They have an honor system for the bar after hours which I loved. They have a communal area which was great since I had a small solo room. Room was very nice. Bed was memory foam and comfortable. Front desk stage was very friendly. I would absolutely stay here again.

A little far from town. But the privacy and quiet was ok as well.

Friendly courteous welcome. Florian gave us all information we may have need to visit the area. The facility has no elevator but our suitcases were delivered to our room on the 3rd floor. The property has a lovely garden. The breakfast was exceptionally good.
