It's a beautiful compound. There is a small lake nearby where you can swim or just relax. The staff was great and helpful. We are a family of three kids in different ages and the kids loved this place. There is a laundry service approximately €12 per washing machine and dryer all together. The location was excellent for us. Few restaurants around, few supermarkets, and even a spa with waterslides (worth visiting). We took a three-bedroom apartment which was very good for the kids and us, with a shared space for all the family.

No shampoo or soap in the showers - you should bring your own. No air conditioning or fans. When the sun came out outside, there were a lot of flies in the room.

We had a great time, loved the outside with the widelawns an well kept beautiful gardens, and the free bikes for kids were great. Perfect playrooms that the kids didn't want to leave, although we had rainy weather some of the time we really enjoyed our stay. No car zone is a big advantage for kids running around the facility. I loved it. Defenetly recommended for families with young kids.

Our apartment was in the main building , so we were supeised to see that while the loby was closed from 6 pm ,the entrance to the apartment was from -1 floor, going up with bags or groceries after every day was quite uncomfortable.

The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The facility is well-maintained and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The sauna is great, offering a relaxing experience, and the kids’ play area is extremely well-equipped, making it an excellent choice for families.

The kitchen was not well-equipped—there were no scissors or wooden spoons. However, when we asked, the staff quickly provided them. The toilet and bathroom were in the same space and unfortunately had no heating, which made it less comfortable. Additionally, there was a strange smell in the hallway.

We had a wonderful stay! We came with our two young children (3 and 1 years old) to this property because we saw that it was very child friendly. Our kids had a blast jumping on the trampolines and hanging out at the gymboree. The apartment itself was equipped with everything we needed and more. The kitchen was fantastic and had all to tools needed to to cook up a yummy meal. They thought of everything- even a potty for our 3 year old (: We even rented e-bikes with a trailor for the kids. Such an amazing experience. The location was perfect for us. We are happy we booked our stay with Sonnberg Ferienanlage. Thank you for having us!

A beautiful, well-maintained area with plenty to do and great facilities, especially for families. We couldn’t try everything even in four days, and there are many attractions nearby as well. So we’ll definitely come back here next time we’re in the area — which says a lot, since we rarely visit the same place twice.

The only minor downside was that there was no sugar or salt in the kitchen. It’s a small thing and wouldn’t be a big investment, but having those basics available would definitely enhance the overall experience.

Great facilities and a warm welcome. We were looking for something for our young children and the indoor playground and playroom were massive. Furthermore, there was an animal husbandry nearby as well as other attractions. Totally worth the stay and we will definitely be back. It was that good. Their attention to detail in providing cribs and bedding for our babies was extremely well thought out and I congratulate them on their organisation. Furthermore, they have spare strollers and carriers to support families so you can minimise the amount of stuff you take.

The beds were slightly hard, but this is obviously a personal preference.

It’s important to check with the staff in advance about the bed arrangements in the room before arriving. In the end, we managed and it was comfortable for us.

We had a great time! The place is beautiful and the workers are willing to help:) I think that there are more things to do there with kids but it was very good also for a couple. We loved it and definitely recommend it to anyone:)

You need to bring everything, from the shampoo to the cooking oil and even salt. Even tea and coffee (the coffee machine in the reception is open only between 10 am to 18:00 - hours that most of the travelers are on the road).. Also, it is very cold at night and the room heater doesn’t work, we had to ask for a radiant but because the reception closes very early they couldn’t see our massage so we basically froze at night :( It is important to say that in the minute that they saw our massage in the morning they apologised and gave us the radiant! Very nice:)

The best hotel I've stayed at during my last five visits to Austria. It offers numerous activities for kids, so there's no need to go anywhere else. My kids loved it. A special thanks to the owner, who greeted us warmly with a big smile and invited us to pick some fruits from the garden. The reception staff were very friendly, always welcoming, smiling, and ready to help. Thank you so much for everything. We will definitely return again.

Everything 😃 An amazing and beautiful location right in the middle of the mountains and perfect for holidays. Very well maintained area with almost every facility available for kids and couples where you can relax and enjoy. The best thing is that the facilities provided were free. Even renting the e-bikes was very cheap. Staff was very friendly and cooperative. Hiking and cycling trails was also available around.

There was no negative about the area or the stay at all 🙂
