Variety for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Snacks choices were good. Annika found me a suitable box to ship home ski gear after I was injured. It was a huge weight off my mind and off luggage. 😁 After moving to another lovely hotel in Bad Hofgastein, we recognize just how comfortable and cared for we were at Oberforsthof. This hotel is incredible. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast, lunch/snack, and dinner included in the room price was exceptional. The location and views are stunning - one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed in. Room was large and comfortable, very clean, great beds/pillows. An absolute treat from start to finish.

I wish there was a kettle and tea/coffee in the room. Considering the luxury level of the hotel, it was disappointing to not have tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Truly an exquisite Alpine experience, a wonderful family run hotel with a top-notch gastronomical dinner offer and excellent staff.

The hotel was very calm and peaceful, and most importantly was a stone's throw from the pistes / lifts. Additionally, László, our waiter for the time we stayed, was incredibly attentive, kind, polite, and was a joy to talk with.

Clean, facility, staff, kids friendly, activities nearby, and food served was very good

The location of the hotel is fabulous and the facilities are beautiful. Lots of areas to sit, relax and take in the scenery. The level of service was outstanding including the welcome drink, bag delivery to room, dining staff, bartender, etc. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in ages. The mattress was firm and the pillows plump! The food and service was wonderful. For breakfast, we really appreciated the freshly made omelets. For dinner, the meals were beautifully plated, tasted wonderful and were the perfect portion sizes. The back terrace and yard area included plenty of space for adults to lounge peacefully while also giving kiddos plenty of area to run around, jump on the trampoline, visit the bunnies and play on the playset. The communication with the hotel staff prior to our stay was top notch, and all our accommodation requests were met.

I would have appreciated a second trash can in the main area of the room. There was only a small trash can in the bathroom. Also, the bathroom could have been swept a bit better.
