Accomodation was great but not as private as I would like when all the cottages are in use. Living room had large window (with window seat), through which snow peaked mountain is visible. Cows in nearby field were a bonus. Very spacious for two people. The problems we encountered were made up for by the outstanding location.

I would have appreciated more information from host before booking. For example, the restaurant was not open during our stay, which was not revealed in the advertisement. We also had to ring host upon arrival to check in and my email requesting directions and best travel mode to accomodation was not answered. This was frustrating since we had travelled from Sydney. There were no instructions on use of kitchen appliances, which were unfamiliar to us. Details on appliances were in German, naturally. Also we had to purchase high priced bus tickets multiple times only to discover after two days that a visitor’s pass was available which made transport costs negligible. More support and attention from the host was needed.

This small family-run hotel, located in pleasant surroundings on the outskirts of Sankt Johann, literally assaulted all our senses. Impeccable cleanliness, furnishings and decorations made of quality materials with attention to every single detail (including the incredibly great smell throughout the hotel), extra friendly staff complemented by the hotel's mascot - a dog (as we were in winter, we unfortunately didn't get to meet the rest of the animals). Comfortable rooms and excellent cuisine offered us everything that a good ski holiday should have. At the same time, transfer between the hotel and the Alpenberg ski resort is also very easy, as there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, from which a free shuttle bus runs several times a day (we didn't take advantage of it, as we were in the top ski season and the bus was crowded, but such an option is always a pleasure). Thank you for a great stay, I've already booked another one for next year's skiing. :)

My only complaint is about the sauna area, which unfortunately operated only from 15.30 to 19.00, when it was always full. Moreover, people were sitting in it wearing swimsuits (I was hoping that this couldn't happen in Austria, that I would be forced to inhale carcinogenic fumes from the swimsuits of those who didn't understand the point of the sauna - but that's not the hotel's fault). I would definitely welcome if the sauna would be open in the evening as well, at least until 10pm.

An incredibly sweet family hotel. Great location. The animal farm was great for the kids. The beautiful yard is great for adults on pleasant days. Pleasant family atmosphere.

One of the hotel staff were not that interested in giving us pool towels but did it anyway. They suggested that we use the bath towels for the pool as well.... On the other hand, the hotel owners are nice and helpful . Dinner is served to the table which is an excellent concept. Only there is one vegetarian or meat choice. Yet When the children were not satisfied with the food served to them, they did offer us an alternative. The breakfast, as in all of Austria, is quite limited and repetitive. But despite all these we had a pleasant and joyful experience.

Rooms were decorated very tastefully, lovely location (would recommend having a car though) was very nice to wake up in the morning with the view of the horses in the field. Staff were very kind and friendly I very much enjoyed my stay. Food was excellent in the hotel. Didn’t get the chance to use the wellness facilities whilst I was there sadly but it all looked very nice. I would recommend a stay here. Overall great value for money.

My room was a little cold I think that the heating wasn’t working properly.

Lovely, quiet hotel with excellent meals included. Good for families. Hourly bus to the skiing at Alpendorf. Added bonus of a lovely brown labrador that was keeping an eye on everything.

One needs to be aware that the hotel is in a very quiet hamlet therefore no apres ski in a multitude of bars but the hotel has its own bar that filled the gap. Not really the place if you want a lively nightlife. You have to eat in the hotel but meals are excellent.

The hotel is newly renovated and cozy. The staff is helpful even though their English is limited. Dinner was really nice with salad, soup, maincourse and dessert every night. The bus for Alpendorf bergbahn left from the hotel every hour. We could for sure stay here again.

Hotel is very clean, food was really tasty.

Check in was really awful. Receptionist was really angry at us, because we don’t speak German, but she doesn’t understand English. It took as several hours to check in. Also confusing was that at the man who works at restaurant was trying to joke with Russian words. Letland is nothing to do with Russia.

The area is wide and open, many things to do with kids, playground, indoor play room, pets and horse riding. On the evening, there are activities with María, my daughter liked them a lot. The staff is amazing, available and respondes fast. Food is extraordinary, with high quality meals. Highly recommended!

Nothing. This place is close to perfection

It was a great experience for our family. Everything was perfect. Breakfast and specially dinner menu was so tasty. Our two daughters had a great time with children play room, pony riding experience and take time with animals. The staff of hotel also was so kind. We recommend this hotel for family with children. Definitely we will planning come back for our next holiday.
