The location is fabulous. The place is recently renovated. Everything was spotless. The room smelled like pine as they have a partnership with a local artisan and oil maker. The staff is very very friendly and made us feel welcome. We had arrived late and we had clear instructions to entry. The room was positioned to the street but the door stopped perfectly any noise. I was so impressed of the design, breakfast was also fabulous. I definitely would love to return. One of the best stay ever. Loved it!!!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was exceptional, rich and very very tasty. We tried various types of natural cheese that were fantastic and we like it so much. . One very good thing is that Therme Amade the spa center was a 7 minute walk from the hotel and the bus that took us to the ski slope was leaving from the hotel. The hotel was extremely clean, beautiful and cozy. The owner of the hotel was very kind woman who has helped us a lot with everything. We had a really wonderful stay. All in all, I recommend it to everyone! It's worth every euro. We will be back for sure.

Absolutely perfect stay at Heidi’s. From checking-in to hospitality throghout the stay all the way until the departure, I felt welcome. The pension is very cozy and gives very homey feelings, in addition to the fact that the location is amazing — there are grocery store, bakery, pharmacy and restaurants in a few-minute walk distance, all easily accessible. Breakfast aas very tasty and plentiful.

First of all, our hostess Mrs. Heidi is exceptional! She always made us feel at home, not in a hotel/pension. From the day we arrived she was attentive and always with a smile, our baby was happy every time she saw her. Regarding the guesthouse, it is small but very cozy, it smells like wood and has many great details like a meditation room, a children's room, sauna, a terrace and garden. It is close to a pharmacy, several restaurants and supermarkets. Our stay was great, I definitely recommend Pension Biem to any family wishing to visit this area of Austria.

Nothing really, everything was excellent for us.

We had a really warm and nice welcome by the host who also gave us nice tips of the surroundings. The place is nice&original with some hidden gems like the child playing room, silent room and garden. Excellent breakfast, very nice details, kids just missed croissants or cakes. :). The location is great - easy accessible by car and with park places, convenient for on-foot tours. We recommend it and would return!

We were there in very hot weather (up to 35C in shade) so we missed air conditioning a bit. Those were probably really uncommon temperatures for the place, so should be fine in general.

A wonderful, cozy, and very pleasant family guesthouse in Altenmarkt. You can easily walk to nearby shops and thermal baths. Altenmarkt is a very peaceful town in the summer, so it can be a bit challenging to find places to eat, especially on Sunday evenings, but you can still find something in the surrounding area. The guesthouse is excellent, and the owner is a very pleasant woman. The breakfast is superb, and the selection of cosmetics and candles, which are also available in the rooms for testing, is a great bonus. I recommend trying them out and buying some to take home—they smell amazing. Thank you, and we would love to come back.

We really loved our staying, kind reception, very good breakfast, fantastic sauna and we could bring our dog with us.

Our room was too warm and windows opened directly to the street, so it was sometimes noisy. But still, we really enjoyed our staying! Thank you!

When I first step in, Nice scent of cypress wood is all around and it makes me feel relax, Host Heidi warmly welcome my family. Room was super clean and bed was pretty cozy. Scramble egg in breakfast was perfect!

As good as it gets

Dinner is super with bio products such as self made bread, honey, eggs. Sauna is super relaxing after the whole day hiking.

Good location but not the best neighborhood with the woodworking factory which has not the best smell during working days. But we were lucky we check-out on Monday.

Wonderful location, friendly hosts, great breakfasts, cozy house, two saunas, comfortable beds.

A bit cramped and not very modern, old rustic style, but the value for money is good.
