Our room had a closed in balcony which was great in the evening for enjoying the fantastic view. We chose half board and the choices of menu each evening were very nice. Nice terrace for sitting outside to have a drink or meal.

Rooms were a bit small and over furnished, 2 armchairs & coffee table in the room which served no purpose as there were 2 more and table in the balcony area. As we stayed only 4 nights I like to live out of my case rather than unpack and there was not much room to do this. No coffee/tea making facilties in the room, but after asking a kettle was provided. Luckily we brought our own cups, tea, coffee, etc. Lack of electric sockets, none by the bedside for charging mobiles. Had to unplug the TV to use the socket.

I loved this hotel, and Gosau is a charming place to stay, very peaceful. The hotel was easier to get to than I thought for someone without a car. It can be reached from the center of the village by a lovely walk along a stream, or there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The tourist information office in the village is also very helpful.

Very clean, very close to bus stop, great views of the mountains and a lot of green grass. Really beautiful place and very quiet. Also great options for dining with great breakfast. Really good and helpful staff. I will definitely return someday for a longer stay.

The rooms are a bit old but in this case it’s not a problem.

Wonderful hotel with a breathtaking view of the Alps, from the room and during breakfast. The restaurant's food is also very good and the people who work there are very kind, especially Brigitte with whom I had the most contact and got several tips about Gosau and the neighboring cities. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back :)

Wonderful breakfast, the view was marvelous - green meadow, high peaks..., room super nice and comfortable. Was very hot and still got winter blanket:) Nice place to meet international people as well!

The hotel is close to the road that passes through the village - bit noisy but very much ok!

An amazing host! She is so generous and kind! Also the rest of the staff were amazing. Everything is clean, cozy, comfy, amazing area and view, so classic. The restaurant is also great, delicious food and drinks.

Family runned business, friendly atmosphere. Clean rooms, tided up every day, great mountain view. Big parking, extra room for ski storing and drying shoes. Breakfast OK, every day different menu with several options to choose for dinner. Location - in the middle between Gosau and Gosau Mittertal, next to main road, skibus stop in front of the hotel.

I would appreciate a kettle and some cups in the room.

Staff is very frendly and helpful. Terasse of the room has direct view on the mountains. Drying room for wet clothes. Bike storage possibility. Direct hiking and biking routes from the hotel. Great breakfast.

Limited amount of power plugs.

Wonderful location with lots of activities, great service, excellent food and outdoor dining area. We stayed in September 2024 and would recommend to friends. We much preferred the location over Hallstatt.

Last minute booking after our other hotel closed. Gauserhof is in a great location for a real peaceful nights sleep. Pay for the Mountain View room. It is worth it with a little balcony. Evening food is only until 7pm (we were there on a Sunday) but there is a pizzeria and another gasthof restaurant within walking distance. Hotel has been in the same family for generations and they have a photo family tree at reception. Current host also asked if we wanted to put the motorbike in the locked garage overnight. Excellent breakfast.

Nothing
