Our experience at Hotel Stern was absolutely outstanding and truly exceeded all expectations. We were immediately impressed by the wonderful and attentive staff, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their dedication to guest satisfaction is second to none. The unforgettable mountain views from our room were breathtaking and provided a perfect backdrop for our stay. The hotel’s private spa area is a definite highlight, especially the sauna ceremonies. A special thank you to Stefan, whose ceremonies were simply incredible and made the experience truly unique. The restaurant's rich and exquisite menu was another pleasant surprise, offering a culinary journey that we will not soon forget. With private parking and all these exceptional amenities, our stay was beyond perfect. On a scale of 1 to 10, this hotel deserves 10 stars, and I would honestly give it 12 if that were an option. We are already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely try to come back.

Even after returning home to Prague, I've had some time to reflect on our stay at Hotel Stern, and the experience remains absolutely flawless in my memory. I have been trying to pinpoint a single aspect that could have been improved, but I genuinely can't think of anything. From the wonderful and attentive staff to the unforgettable mountain views, every detail was perfect.

The location is fairly good, super easy 50min transfer by car/taxi from Innsbruck airport. The hotel is 20mins by ski bus to Solden and 40mins to Obergurgl. The 320 & 44 bus stop is right outside the hotel, and passes every 10mins during peak hours and is free to ride. The rooms were clean, comfortable, decently sized and well equipped. (you get a spa kit as well) The sizable spa was excellent and the new swimming pool on the 3rd floor was superb!! Great view out over the valley. The best bit by far was the half board option, oh my, a four course meal, with options, every evening and a breakfast buffet - I felt like I was rolling out the door onto the ski slopes after all that food. The food quality was superb and the service matched. VERY highly recommended and far exceeded my expectations. Received a small jar of locally produced honey on checkout, which I love.

I was not a fan of the church and it's ding dong bell right next door to the hotel, some might like it but I found it somewhat intrusive. Not really a negative, just a personal preference really. This hotel, like many in Austria, was fantastic.

Our stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations! Everything was perfect—delicious and abundant food, extremely friendly and smiling staff, and excellent facilities. The pool and sauna were exactly what we needed after a long day of skiing, providing the perfect relaxation. And the view from the pool? Simply breathtaking! Highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience!

As a suggestion, it would be great to install a thermostatic valve on the radiator, as it was too warm at night, and turning it off completely was not a comfortable solution.

The hotel was had an amazing steam and spa room room in the basement and an infinity pool on the 3rd floor. The hotel was nicely decorated.

Our room was very hot and noisy, it was located next to a busy road. My husband slipped at the infinity pool because the tiles were not condusive to people walking around with wet feet. He hurst his back and it ruined our ski trip for the weekend. I informed the hotel staff of my husband's fall and they didn"t seem to care and charged us extra because I had accidently booked for one person.

We had a brilliant time at Hotel Stern and were thoroughly impressed with the cosiness of the hotel and the warmth of the staff. It being a family business was a real positive factor in so many interactions. The food was consistently great, with plenty of variety of dishes and care in preparation. The combination of rooftop pool and underground spa was a real treat after a long day on the mountain, with many different saunas and steam rooms to keep each visit fresh.

Recommended hotel for the facilities. Excellent terrace outdoor pool and spa. Superb breakfast. Friendly and polite stuff. The hotel does not offer reserved parking for every room, however finding a spot around the hotel building was easy and straightforward every time.

Nothing to mention, I would recommend a couple of screwdrivers in the ski room attached to the wall. A ski room needs a screwdriver for adjusting bindings.

Looking at the wellness area pictures, I thought it was going to be more contemporary in style, which I'd wanted, but the rooms, corridors were a bit dated for the price

Very clean facilities. Friendly, accommodating, and professional staff. Convenient location if planning on using a local bus. Also, easy walk to Aqua Dome and access to hikes.

No advertised coffee station available (except for breakfast time if you have it as included, otherwise extra charge). No kettle/coffee maker in the room. Some spa facilities were unavailable, so if planning on using a spa, it is worth calling ahead.

We were guests of the hotel in July 2024. Friendly hotel staff, delicious food. Be careful on the steps by the pool, very slippery, I had a bad fall there, still healing

This Hotel has a great cost/quality ratio for Austria. The staff, food, organization and the infinity pool area are just perfect. Easy access to everything within the Otztal area.

The bedrooms (or at least our bedroom) looked as it belongs to another hotel. Nothing fundamentally wrong but outdated bathroom, old fashioned decor when the new spa area, the reception area and restaurant are very fine. I guess they are renewing step by step. As mentioned before the cost/quality ratio is high so this is acceptable.
