Absolutely fantastic very special hotel situated right on the lake shore with breathtaking view, authentic design - you feel like you step into museum, amazing atmosphere, I would call it “boutique” hotel. Fortunately we got the same room where once the younger brother of the Austrian emperor Franz Joseph I stayed! Great staff, kind, friendly and helpful! Delicious breakfast offering even sparkling wine! We enjoyed sauna and steam bath following lake swim as well. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately jacuzzi (whirlpool) was out of service (may be due to off-season)

the walls were thin and there was a couple in a room above us who had dogs. They were running around all night and barking, and we could hear loud creaking. we were lucky to get 2h sleep. this experience ruined our trip. we paid good money to sleep in a hotel, not to be kept aware by rude guests. the least the hotel can do is give rooms on the ground floor to anyone with pets when they know their floors and walls are well below acceptable standards

This was one of the most enjoyable stays I ever had in any hotel anywhere. This place is just charming. The place is built directly on the bank of the lake, at the end of a small street. There’s a free parking lot next to it. We had three rooms for our large party, one in the main building on the lake and two in the inner building across the tiny street. All of them were excellent, spacious and comfortable. Much of the day we spent on the hotel grass beach by the lake which is fantastic. The entire hotel has an old, imperial age feel to it. We had breakfast at the restaurant again right on the lake which is also really good. Staff was very helpful.

Everything was perfect. A piece of advice - during high season if you want to eat dinner in nearby restaurants, including that of the hotel, it makes sense to reserve.

The location right on the lake is breathtaking. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The early morning plunges before breakfast were delightful. Our bedroom was very comfortable. The restaurant is delicious. The breakfast (by the lake) offers many options. The entire vibe of the hotel is incredible: you feel like in a spa retreat the 1800s, with perfect good taste. Special mention for the free paddle boards and sauna. We were sorry to leave and hope to come back!

This hotel was exceptional, the location was amazing right on the lake with the most spectacular views. The breakfast was lovely right by the water and the staff friendly. This place exceeds all expectations and I would definitely recommend it and stay here again myself.

Parking was sometimes an issue as in the evenings it is really busy with the resturant but it didn't ruin the experience at all.

Boutique style intimate hotel with old world charm. Busy restaurant clearly popular with locals for a nice meal out. Pleasant and comprehensive breakfast. Attentive family owners constantly there to oversee service. Fantastic waterfront lakeside location. Good base for exploring the area.

I very much enjoyed the location and friendly, but professional, stuff.

I was disappointed when finding out that facility couldn't provide the charging for EV. That goes somehow on fraud fashion because out of official web site photographs I was expecting that service! It suffices to say that charging my car was one of priorities while choosing the place for vacation. My information on site told me that both chargers were out of use for a longer period of time, anyway during my whole stay. Anyway, I didn't recognise any enthusiasm towards solving the situation. In such circumstances the service of EV charging should be either removed from list of services (photographs) or repaired swiftly within a day of malfunction report.

The location, the property itself with its history, very nice staff, darko the waitress (I think it’s his name) :) very nice and friendly and very good food!!!

We had the room which was much better than we got because they gave us accidently dently other room and on the day we left I looked in the room which was supposed to be ours and was so much nicer ☺️

The place is really beautiful. The hotel is nice and we felt comfortable there. Breakfast was really good, my daughter was happy with the jam selection

A little bit too much for a dog’s stay - 25€ No air conditioning, it was a little bit too warm even the day was not hot.

The place was amazing, the owners brothers were amazing, the buildings and architecture and family history was great!!! We very enjoyed the holiday!!

The restaurant stuff was unexperienced. I expected more about food from the menu. Breakfast was great but the fruit was not fresh (old bananas, apples, marriles...). Room - very nice, but I would very appreciate coffe and tea making piossibility, minibar and fridge!! Playground - nice garden but with 2 kids I would appreciate more activities for kids (trampoline, games, whatever) - happy kids always = happy parents:-)
