It is the perfect choice for people who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The guesthouse is located next to a large forest area and the Millstätter lake is within walking or biking distance. There is another small lake "Egelsee" near the guesthouse. The guesthouse also has a restaurant with a nice green terrace where you can eat during the day. Looking at the map, the place seems to be close to the highway, but practically the guesthouse is located on the hill and the highway is far down - there is no disturbance from traffic and you can really feel yourself in the nature. The hosts are friendly and speak both English and German.

not for the accomodation itself. my 2 navigations (the car one and the phone one) were showing different roads to the hill, finally google maps has the right way...

A lovely guest house and restaurant in a peaceful rural location, just a few km from Spittal. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. A secure park was found for my bicycle.

For a cycle tourist, loaded up and with no electric assistance, it's a good workout getting up the hill! But well worth it once you get there. 😊

Wonderful walk up the lake and quick swim. Magic. Made friends too! We hadn't realised how far we would be from a restaurant but our hosts set up vegan meals that were delicious and healthy. Thank you so much! Friendly welcome. Pure joy

Very nice atmosphere, the host is very nice and they are very caring!

It smells a bit because of the kitchen, would be more to be isolated. Also the towers are kinda stinky haha please wash it properly :)

Beautiful nature, fresh air, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, traditional rural accommodation in Austria.

The access road is very narrow, poor-quality broken road, many turns... I had late evening arrival, it is really dangerous in case of poor visibility.

Staff absolutely great, very friendly and polite. Food at the restaurant was also great, but there are little options to choose from. Otherwise, clean and tidy.

We had a fantastic stay, arriving late to find the owners exceptionally kind, who prepared a delicious plate of ham and cheese for us. The room was spacious, big, and impeccably clean.

The property is exceptionally well run and the owner are very friendly no complains to make

When I arrived I got welcomed by who I think the owner was. Very positive man, good vibes from him. Immediately he asked whether I was interested in something to eat and then the food was served in minutes. The room was amazing and the bed was super comfortable. The view over the mountains was stunning and let's not forget the route to the inn, perfect with the motorcycle!

Wasn't really anything that I didn't like. Maybe the check-out times could be a little bit later.

For a person on a bicycle especially not an Electric bike, The approach to the lodging is very difficult and very very uphill.

Hosts are super friendly and helpful, great food and drink, fantastic entertainment from hosts performing traditional Austrian music. Well worth visiting again!
