The hotel is ideally located between Saalbach and Hinterglemm, right on the bus route for easy access to both areas. One of the best features is the hotel’s ski train, which runs in the morning and takes guests directly to Saalbach or Hinterglemm. The schedule is posted at the hotel, and I highly recommend using it for a hassle-free start to your ski day. Our room was a standard one but included a lovely balcony with great views. At night, the room could get warm, so we left the glass door open to enjoy the cool mountain air. While the hotel is located directly on the road, we only noticed occasional road noise, and traffic was minimal overnight. The food at the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful, with a variety of options each morning, including made-to-order omelets. Dinner was equally impressive, offering nightly selections of beef, fish, and vegetarian dishes. The hotel also has a small but nice bar area, where servers can provide soft drinks, beer, wine, and other beverages with dinner. Drinks are conveniently charged to the room, so there’s no need to carry cash or cards. For convenience, there is a small ski shop and a grocery store right across the street. The hotel also offers free parking, which is a great perk. Each afternoon, the hotel organizes an activity for guests. We especially enjoyed the outdoor firepit with mulled wine, which was a wonderful way to meet and chat with other guests. I’d love to see the hotel offer this more than once a week, as it added a special touch to the stay. Overall, this is a great hotel with excellent amenities, a prime location, and thoughtful extras. I would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Don't get discouraged by the location. It's not in reasonable walking distance from the slopes, but around 25 meters from the hotel, there is a bus stop for ski buses operated by the ski resort with interval of 20 minutes for each direction all day and on the top of that the hotel operates it's own transportation in morning peaks. I never needed to use my car. The single room is not very large, but really cozy. It's possible to choose soft or hard mattress and thick or thin cover. Staff is very friendly and helpful. When I wanted to extend my staying, they did some swaps so I could keep my room as long as possible and then they agreed to move my stuff to new room while I was enjoying the hills. Internet connection was reliable and fast even for an IT specialist and online meetings. I'm very picky and usually I try to find in reasonable distance the best restaurants instead of eating in my hotel so I booked it only with breakfast. At the end I was eating there regularly as it turned out that this was actually one of the best ones. I'm suspicious that it would have been much cheaper as a full board, but for me it was still worth it. I liked the approach where I could use buffet for starters and then the soup and main meal was a la carte, always something interesting, no ordinary meals. Very good service. Opening hours were friendly, no problem with coming something after 20:00. I like craft beers and they had them in their offer, like local craft New England IPA. Breakfast also perfect, with some alterations and something special. Hotel seems to be family friendly, but I was never bothered by any kids. There was reasonable arrangement of tables. The wellness was officially open 16-19, but at 19 nobody comes to kick the guests out. The capacity is sufficient unless the hotel is full and weather too bad. In the wellness area, there are available good drinks for free. For entertainment there is a table football at the basement.

The wellness doors are opposite to the ski room and every time I got out of there I experienced unpleasant smell. It might help to move one of the doors few meters or try to do something with ventilation. The description of hotel and services could be more detailed. When I was looking for accommodation, I was considering few alternatives and if I had read this review I'm writing now, there wouldn't have been what to think about.

The shuttle service, the delicious halfboard food. The closet in the room is perfect for all the ski clothes and equipment. Good and comfortable double bed. Hospitable staff. Hotel owner is fun to talk to.

Bathroom heating is the old style one piece, I would prefer to have a new style heating with all the bars, because it is easier and faster to hang and dry hand washed underwear and ski socks.

The location of the hotel was good, just outside of the busy towns themselves, but close enough. There is a bus stop for the free bus a 100 metres away, as well as a supermarket. The food is excellent, especially the really wide array of breakfast foods. Also, if you have young children, this hotel works great: there are lots of other children, so you won't feel uncomfortable if yours yell or have a tantrum occasionally. Moreover, there are lots of toys in the garden for them to play with. My children also loved the three rabbits they keep (though those aren't even very tame). Also: the Joke Card is awesome! Makes your stay infinitely cheaper and more relaxed.

Staff is friendly enough, but (maybe given the size of the place, or the fact that our active command of German is not great) not very personal. They don't ask any questions, or if they do ask how your day was, they don't really seem interested in your answer. Also, the playroom off of the dining area is fun and well-equipped, but on the small side for the amount of children that used it during our stay. This sometimes led to some squabbles amoungst the children.

Very comfortable room. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast, great choice of food. Half board option a must, the evening meals were fantastic. If you are skiing the tractor train service is a real bonus saving a lot of walking to lifts.

We spent our summer vacation here. A pleasant and tidy hotel with an excellent kitchen - I recommend a stay with breakfast and dinner. The location of the hotel is slightly away from Saalbach itself, so it is less crowded, and the surroundings are more open. The hotel has enough parking and a well-kept garden. Ideal for families with children.

The staff and the hospitality was great. The owner of the hotel was always there for a friendly chat or to help you. Good food and very nice wellness area. They celebrated my birthday. Really liked it. Also Heiligenabend was great. Good atmosphere/food.

The location is between Saalbach and Hinterglemm. You have to use the skibus or ski shuttle. It is quite easy, but takes some time. Normally you you can ski to the hotel, but due to poor snow condtions it was not possible.

Everything was excellent, Roland and his staff go out of there way to give you a top class stay and nothing is to much trouble the breakfast was everything you could possibly want and the evening dinner was superb, They provide transport to the slopes in the morning by means of land train which was great fun , A great hotel with brilliant staff , a real credit to Roland and his team
