I have stayed in some very nice hotels across the world, but this hotel really is one of my favourite stays ever. The decor and atmosphere of the hotel is exquisite, everything looks beautiful inside and out. The hotel sits on the lake and has private access to it. The outdoor pool is beautiful and heated so it doesn’t matter if it’s a cold day if you want to use it. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. In fact it saved us eating lunch as it kept us full for the whole day, even on a long hike. The staff are so attentive and professional, they always made sure we were topped up with drinks and as a cocktail connoisseur, I can confirm they make some great cocktails from the bar. The welcome drink on arrival was very nice too. The room is comfortable, and the whole hotel was such a great base for our stay. Very walkable to everything in st Wolfgang. It being a boutique hotel, it’s a lovely size - it had a nice feeling to it not being a mega hotel. There was also a beautiful hotel dog on site sometimes. I can’t wait to come back, this was a perfect stay for a restorative week in the Austrian alps.

My only comment would be soundproofing in the rooms could be improved (though it wasn’t a big problem).

You can’t beat the location! Right on the waterfront with stunning views. Property has been totally renovated throughout. Very pleasant and tranquil. Staff were very friendly and helpful and even changed our room because of noisy guests in the room above us.

These are tiny dislikes but probably more relatable to Austrian culture. Do they really feel justified to charge €1.50 for a glass of tap water at dinner? We were charged for a meal at dinner that I returned to the kitchen. Otherwise we fully enjoyed the stay but considering we spent over a €1000 at the hotel during our 2 day stay, I think it’s penny pinching and annoying. Just be aware.

While my experience at Hotel Seevilla Wolfgangsee was overwhelmingly positive, there were a couple of minor concerns. One of them was the noise that occasionally emanated from the wood sealing when someone walked above. Although it did not significantly impact my overall comfort, it could be slightly distracting at times. Additionally, the sound insulation from the rooms above could have been improved, as noise from other guests in the upper rooms occasionally filtered through. However, it is important to note that these issues did not overshadow the otherwise exceptional experience I had at the hotel.

Great location, amazing views, facilities on site were great. The hotel footprint is relatively small but it has prime waterfront views and access to the lake. Breakfast was phenomenal with a wide variety of foods + a la carte ordering. Worth getting the room with a sauna and balcony. We didn't have a reservation for dinner one night and they were willing to move things around to help accommodate our last-minute request to dine with them.

Everything was great. Could have used with some help with the luggage at check-in and out. But overall it was a great experience. I would recommend booking dinner reservations early as the restaurant does get filled up with both hotel and outside guests!

The hotel is just by the lake with beautiful scenery and it’s relaxing to take a leisure walk along the lake. The Seevilla team is sweet and nice, and by the way the food of the restaurant Ledererhaus is worth to try😋

Had to close the window at night，or there may be some little insects coming indoors

The staff exceeded all expectations with their exceptional service. The view of the lake was so beautiful. Additionally, the dog at the reception area was absolutely delightful, adding an extra touch of warmth and charm to the overall experience.

The booking was for my parents big anniversary and was hoping for the hotel or the restaurant to add a personal touch for the booking but they didn’t but it wasn’t a big problem as all staff were really nice.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the lake. Our room had stunning views and a spacious terrace. The outdoor pool and spa area is fantastic. There is a good variety of food on offer at breakfast and we ate in the restaurant twice during our stay and the food was superb. What sets this hotel apart is the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and efficient.

A minor issue, but a kettle in the room would be a welcome addition.

Love the beautiful lake view and the cozy decorations in the resort. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was great. Staffs were welcoming and friendly. Complimenting drinks and fruits at the arrival were nice treats

Poor insulation, my husband and I were woken up at 4am by the sound of cracking floor above us. We weren’t able to fall back to sleep afterwards because of the nonstop cracking noises

Cleanness, design

I reserved a table for dinner 2 days before we arrived. It was confirmed but when we were in the restaurant, i realized that they have not reserved a table. They only add you on the list. It does not make sense.

We received a welcome drink while our check-in was prepared and enjoyed the magnificent view of the lake. The hotel is directly at the waterfront and is one of the best we have ever booked. Our room was recently renovated in a modern and very detail-oriented way.
