It was a great stay.the staff always welcoming with a smile.lovely room (we got upgraded to junior suite but the double room are also with good size)nice furniture and amazing views of the lake. For breakfast you get a daily plate with cheese meat and some more goods. You can also order eggs and other daily specials along with tea or coffee. Also a little buffet with drinks granolas breads cake and fruits and vegetables so you can make your fresh juice if you want. . The location in the center of the town with private parking.

Great property, really enjoyed our stay there. The front desk attendant got us a complimentary upgrade to a wonderful, spacious suite, overlooking the lake. The breakfast was delicious and very generous with many options and fresh organic local produce. The dinners were also amazing, restaurant had views from indoor or outdoor patio. We rented bikes next door and went all the way around the lake with many stops for pictures, swim or refreshments. Took the ferry right back to the hotel with our bikes, watched the sunset sipping some cocktails. This hotel is very convenient to many attractions and I would love to return again in the future.

A simply wonderful last few days of our holiday were spent at Hotel Peter... we had a lovely big room with a balcony looking out onto the lake and as usual not enough pillows for me so I asked for extra and they were delivered almost immediately. Lovely shower and separate toilet... not particularly modern but everything worked well. Breakfast was probably the best i've experienced.. there was not only lots of lovely breads, granola and fruit but so many extras that are appreciated like flaxseed, fresh honeycomb, fruit and veg that you can juice yourself in the big industrial juicer... wonderful coffee and then daily specials the staff bring to the table.. I could go on but this hotel really made our stay at St Wolfgang more special... its so peaceful, relaxing and chilled... you could spend 2 hours at breakfast if you wanted just eating and looking at the lake.. the restaurant was also very good and we enjoyed a relaxing evening watching the rain from the benches that look out to the lake.... we will be back!!

Just one very small problem with hot drinks in the room.. there was a kettle but hardly any drinks so I had to ask for some tea bags and I got a selection of English Breakfast, Peppermint and Camomile....some hotels in Austria don't have anything at all..... no coffee available at all either but the amazing coffee at breakfast made up for it :)

Amazing peaceful location while being in the centre of St Wolfgang. View was spectacular and whole atmosphere of Hotel Peter so welcoming - a home away from home. Interiors are traditional which added to the charm (don't expect the most modern features in the room - eg an electric fan instead of Aircon, clean and functional bathroom but not the most modern). Staff were so helpful including when we missed check-in due to a train delay - all was seamless. Restaurant food was great (traditional again!) including breakfast (so much choice to eat!)

The hotel is perfectly positioned and easily accessed. The room was magnificent, comfortable and with a spectacular view across Wolfgangsee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with slot of choice. There was free parking and an unexpected bonus was a charging point for our electric car (fixed charge of 20 euro to use).

The parking spaces were a little tight. Once parked we could only get out of one side of the car. The private Lido (which we didn't use) was quite a walk away and fairly small.

We got upgraded to a very big room with a big balcony. Everything was so cute in this hotel - the lobby, common area, great colour palette and interior design. You can also feel the history in the building. Great view of the lake. Full breakfast included with lots of options for bread, snacks, cheese, etc. very friendly staff. You'll feel like living in a dream. Great for the value during off season and Peter hotel was definitely a highlight of my trip.

Location is unbeatable (make sure you get a water view room, totally worth it), service was absolutely faultless, Gregor at checking made us feel so welcome, then at dinner the host, Paul, came to greet us, again very welcoming. The waiter was absolutely great, our wild garlic soup was marvellous. Breakfast was awesome. Cannot fault this place. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality, team Peter!

This hotel is not really what we expected. Our room was very cozy, spacious and extremely comfortable. Keep inind though this hotel is an old one, recently renovated, some things remained old. The view from the room is spectacular and an experience in itself. The breakfast was one of the best we ever had in any hotel. You are able to make your own fresh squizzed juice from the choice of vegetables and fruit and the food has been beautifully presented and delicious. Also the restaurant is amaxing, with spectacular view, extremely cozy. It is a very dreamy, romantic, relaxing and cozy hotel. We will definitely return just to stay in there.

The price is a bit on higher end comparedto other options in Austria, especially for low season. The lighting at night in our room could be improved. The bathroom could use a renovation but the furniture was new. The visit in the hotel is still an amazing and romantic experience but remember not all of it is new.

The view was phenomenal, service was excellent, the breakfast was delicious, the restaurant also had an excellent view, the room was clean and we had everything we needed. The staff was really friendly, welcoming and helpful! Location was great! Thank you for a lovely stay!

The only thing that we did not like was the fact that there was no air conditioned. It just happened that it was really really warm when we visited and the room was warm too so it was not as comfortable as we are used in Canada to have air conditioned. But I know it is not your fault and it did really helped that a fan was provided!

A family owned intimate hotel with excellent service and friendly staff. We had a suite with separate bedroom on the 3rd floor with breathtaking view to Wolfgangsee and surroundings. Room was very specious, romantically decorated and also had a beautiful balcony facing the lake. Breakfast was fabulous! Fresh organic products, all delicious and diverse.

We knew the hotel didn't have air conditioning, but unfortunately fans were too old, not sufficiently airing the heat in the room. Ceiling fans could do much better. Lack of facility to make coffee in the room was also irritating.
