The spa area was great. Nice pool, hot tub and saunas. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly.

One of the main criteria for selecting the hotel was the gym. But it seems that the gym is often reserved for trainers leading circuit training which takes up the entire gym. As guests, we would expect to have access and not be asked to leave the gym. Recommendation to check ahead when the gym is closed to guests and if fitness is an important part of your lifestyle then perhaps choose a different hotel.

The hotel looks old from the outside, but surprises you when you enter! The interior design is great and the rooms are fantastic. We loved the space and the view from the room. The breakfast was good, with good choice. The coffee could be better though :)

There was not much that we did not like, but the gym could have a water station. On top of that, the dessert on one evening was limited and they could not restock it for us. Should never be the case. One should not rush to get the dessert before it disappears.

Stayed here in October 2022 for our honeymoon and it was the highlight of the trip. You get so much for the price, excellent food, a very unique sauna area (with many different stations including a cold pool and awesome cozy mineshaft outdoor sauna), and travel tips from the staff that made our trip even better. I can’t speak for what the crowds are like in the Summer or Winter but when we went it the Fall it was quiet and peaceful. The staff were extremely friendly and gave us some day trip ideas that led to an excellent day of hiking in the nearby Silbertal. Easy to get to from the train station, maybe a 10min walk. Also, if your German is limited it’s not an issue, much of the staff speaks English or can meet you halfway. We would go out of the way to stay here again!

Everything! The breakfasts and dinners, our room, the decor and atmosphere, the staff and accessible to the train and hiking paths. You can walk everywhere.

Loved the unique decor, soothing music and upbeat vibe. The dining was top notch and the views fantastic if you faced the front with a balcony. We would definitely go again, but take advantage more of the spa.

The exterior looks very dated. We were a little turned off.
