The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Hotel was very child-friendly with a sleeping cot available, baby chairs in the restaurant and kids playroom. Also, the staff was very friendly and accommodating with the baby, which was so amazing! There were also several optional activities/events happening during our stay at the hotel (live music, groups walks, etc.), which were a good addition to the holiday.

The pool area is nice, but kind of small. We had several very hot weather days and the room did get quite warm. It cooled down with the windows open at night, so it was not a problem for us.

We spent 10 nights at Hotel Seefelderhof, and it was probably one of our best holidays to date. Everything came together beautifully – comfort, hospitality, and atmosphere. Our room was spacious and had a lovely view of the garden and the children’s playground, which was a great bonus. The food was delicious: we had breakfast and dinner included. While breakfast wasn’t extremely varied, it was high quality. Dinner was à la carte with a fine dining touch – a three-course menu, plus salad and dessert buffets. There were themed nights like Italian evening, dessert night (featuring Sacher torte, tiramisu, Black Forest cake, and more), and a gala dinner with a wide variety of dishes. In the afternoon, guests with half-board were also served coffee and pastries or donuts – a lovely touch. One of the highlights for us was that our 1.5-year-old child received separate meal portions each evening, which we didn’t expect and appreciated greatly. We also enjoyed the pool and both the indoor and outdoor play areas for kids. There was always enough free parking around the hotel. A special thank you goes to Nandor, who served us the first few nights and made us feel right at home – he spoke excellent Romanian and was incredibly warm and welcoming. And also to Suzana, who served us on other evenings and completely won over our child – she held him in her arms, played with him, and made every meal feel special for our family. As for downsides (which we easily overlooked): drinks at dinner are not included and quite expensive, not even water is offered complimentary. Also, towards the end of our stay, housekeeping forgot to refill the liquid soap in the bathroom. Overall, a wonderful stay – warm people, great food, and a hotel that really caters to families with small children. Highly recommended!

Lovely, clean hotel, Food was lovely and along with the amazing beauty of Austria was a highlight of holiday experience. Restaurant staff/ cleaning staff were lovely and very accomodating. Facilities in hotel were very good. Daily cake and coffee offer as part of half board was added benefit. We left before breakfast on final day and hotel was kind enough to provide food packs which was very kind and welcome. Guest pass meant local travel costs were included and made holiday better value for money.

Reception staff were very unfriendly which was unexpected and unnecessary. Room was ready, though missing some toiletries which was disappointing but not major problem as quick and easy to resolve. Politely alerted the reception staff and was met surprisingly by distain but despite this, issue was resolved quickly. Attitude of reception staff was out of character with rest of hotel experience and made us feel very uncomfortable. A kettle in room would have been welcome but accept that this is not usual for this part of Europe. Charge incurred for tap water at dinner which was a little disappointing but not unexpected as clearly highlighted in drinks menu.

nice, warm, clean, all you need; very tasty and wonderfully plated dinner + a lot for breakfast; I would recommend for at least 2 nights stay. Mind that if you work out your way with the guest card in advance bus transfer from Mittenwald or train from Scharnitz to the hotel is free, so would be on the last day too☺️

Bed was too soft for me, can get crowdy in the spa area, the water in the pool was a little cold for my expectations

Room could be a bit bigger for a family of 3. Adults have missed the gym.

A family style hotel, cosy, nice deco, friendly staff. You get your own table for the whole stay and get to choose the courses for the dinner. The dinner is of an excellent quality, with a wide range of vegetables, cold and warm starters. The desserts are also very nice. A special thank to the waiters (Aleksander - thank you!). We felt very much at home during our stay. The beds are also worth mentioning - good quality and comfy. Good spa.

In the double rooms kids get to sleep on the sofa bed. It’s not ideal, the sofa is quite hard. Also the pillows were very thin.

An excellent hotel with friendly and efficient service from all staff. Evening meals were varied and beautifully presented. Our room was larger than average with mountain views.

Location just out of town centre, but easy walking distance to centre. Several good walking routes to suit various abilities. Guest card gave free local travel to very nearby towns. Generally good food.

Cozy, good location and very polite and helpful staff. Nice spread in breakfast and tasty dinner. Thank you Seefelderhof. You made our six nights home-away-from-home and we will come back again and again.

our room was bit smaller for three once sofa was converted in bed for my son but I think room dimension was mentioned and it was my wrong selection. I am not sure if they have bigger rooms for the families because many kids and young boys and girls come for the skiing with their parents.
